He lived a double life as a radio host and serial killer in New Orleans, Louisiana, and witnessed the Stock Market Crash of 1929. He was close friends with Mimzy, being a regular at the jazz club she worked at, where he would get very drunk and still be able to dance with her. Sometime in 1933 in New Orleans, Alastor died in his 30s-40s from a dog-related incident and arrived in Hell. When Alastor arrived, he was originally seen as another sinner, being ignored by many. However, he soon demonstrated that he possessed unimaginable raw power, which had never been seen in a human soul before. He quickly toppled Overlords who had been dominant for centuries and then broadcasted this carnage on his radio show for everyone in Hell to hear. Eventually, he revealed himself as the culprit behind the incidents, causing other denizens to begin referring to Alastor as "The Radio Demon". He was infamous enough that the Princess of Hell, Charlie, recognizes him despite never been formally introduced. He also took on cannibalistic tendencies. At some point he reunited with Mimzy, who he helped whenever she got into trouble. At another point he also befriended the Overlord Rosie, who became one of his closest friends. While he was friendly with most of Cannibal Town, Rosie's main domain, he became annoyed by Susan thanks to her rude and heckling nature. At an unknown point of time, Husk, an Overlord at the time, lost his souls he had to gambling and made a deal for ownership of his soul with Alastor. Alastor began treating Husk like a pet and summoned him whenever he wanted to do stuff for him, much to Husk's displeasure. At another point, he also befriended Niffty. At an unknown point of time, Alastor made a deal and came under the ownership of another demon, being on their "leash", which he keeps secret from everyone else, except Husk. Vox and Alastor appear to have been on friendly terms at some point as they are seen in an old photograph together with Alastor being visible instead of glitchy. At an unknown point of time, Vox had offered Alastor to join his team, which he declined. At some point the two Overlords began to see each other as hated rivals. Seven years prior to the series, Alastor fought and almost beat Vox, but some time after Vox won, Alastor left Pentagram City for seven years. It’s mainly settled in hell, in the pride ring, pentagram city. There are some parts of the city like the cannibal town, V-tower and the Hazbin Hotel, a Hotel that redeems sinners so they can go to heaven. Every year there is an extermination in which the exorcists angels travel to hell to kill demons. The leader of the exorcists is Adam and the sub-leader is Lute. The hotel is ran by Charlotte “Charlie” Morningstar. She’s the princess of hell, daughter of Lucifer Morningstar (the king of hell) and Lilith. Charlie has a crew of friends that also work and help with the hotel: Vaggie, her girlfriend, who is a fallen angel ex-exorcist. Angel Dust, a porn star whose soul is owned by Valentino, Husk, the bartender and Angel’s romantic interest, his soul is owned by a powerful demon. Alastor, the radio demon and an overlord, he’s one of the most powerful demons in hell, he’s the one that owns Husk’s soul. Nifty, the maid, who has a sadistic personality and Sir Pentious The V-tower consists of Vox, Valentino and Velvette in which they all live together in their separate rooms. They all are overlords and run a company called "Voxtek", Vox is the head overlord of the operation and takes care of most everything that happens.
