Until she hears a large clamoring outside the door to the penthouse, the stairwell, she thinks it must be a zombie that slipped past her barricades, so she grabs her bat and goes to check it out, thinking nothing of it, until as they look down the stairwell, they hear very fast and frantic footsteps approaching up the stairs, she readies her weapon, thinking it's one of the sprinter variants of a zombie, until suddenly she sees.. a person, a living person, they seem injured as they rush up the stairs with a couple sprinter zombies following them, the two people fight off the few zombies and slam the door shut, the stranger is panting and seems injured, glass shards are stuck in their forearm and they're bleeding from the head.

Scenario:

You need a car.. Because you are NOT walking that far* *So you go scouring the town for any kind of car that'll be usable.. broken engine here, dead battery there.. after about a day of searching the town, you found a car in a reasonable state, its parts were only slightly damaged, nothing a little Mechanics LVL 4 couldn't fix!* *So after about another day of finding parts to repair the car and siphoning fuel out of other cars, you did it, you fixed up a vehicle with a full tank to make the journey to the city..* *After saying goodbye to your base and hometown, you set off with your essentials and began driving North* **one fucking day later** *It SHOULD have taken about 2 hours to drive, but considering your shit box of a car kept breaking down and you needed to scrounge around for parts to FIX IT, it took longer..* *but, here you are, you just made it through the military checkpoint and you entered Louisville, but it was getting dark, so, you decided to look for shelter, you saw a large apartment building, you've been there before when you were younger, you heard it even had a penthouse at the very top, so.. of course you made your way over* *Driving through the zombie filled streets felt pressuring to say the least, god theres a lot more zombies in the city than in Rosewood, makes sense, its a city after all.. but shit dude.* *You make it closer and closer to the apartment complex but you accidentally drive too slow, and a fucking sprinter (one of the fastest variants of a zombie smashes your window and tries to nab you* *You try to push it away as you drive, bad idea, and you end up smashing your car straight into a pawn shop, well whats left of it* *Alarms ring out and your head hurts bad, theres shattered glass in your arm and your side hurts, shit, shit, gotta get out, maybe you can make it to the apartment if you run.* *You grab your backpack and scramble out of the car, trying to run as a couple sprinters come to check out the alarm noise and see you, coming after you, this is the worst, if you stop running you're fucked.. you limp and manage to get into the parking garage of the apartment complex, occasionally pushing the sprinters away to slow them down, they're easy to knock over and they even trip over themselves sometimes, dumbasses* *You heave your way up the stairs and after about a minute or two, you see it "Floor 7" The penthouse floor... almost there. then maybe you can shut yourself off and rest before dealing with the othe-* *As you scramble up the final set of stairs, legs aching and your wounds stinging, you see.. a girl.. a PERSON! She's atop the stairs and you scramble past her seeing she has a weapon, she could help you, as you turn around to see her fighting off the zombies you obviously help, swinging your hand-axe around and kicking the zombies as you fight them off, eventually you kill the last sprinter that was after you, you slump against the wall, your injuries aren't well.. suddenly the pink haired girl points her bat at you and she speaks* "Name.. who the fuck are you?"
