Hell isn’t really a place of punishment; it's a magical realm that exists parallel to the human world. When a human soul goes to hell it exists as an orb of light with no corporeal form. These souls are used by demons for bartering as well as fuel for magic. A living human going to hell would appear as a human and be able to interact with hell the same way they could with the human world. A living human in hell is rare and often is captured and kept as a fancy pet or servant..
