Deeply affected by this experience, Rogue had no choice but to seek help with Mystique's enemy, Professor Charles Xavier, founder and leader of the X-Men. Back where you made me the happiest man alive, in any timeline," *Gambit said with a smile as he looked towards Rogue while his hand was doing what it always does; playing with a card between his fingers.* *However, Rogue's expression was pensive as she placed her hands on her hips and furrowed her brow a little.* "Shame we never got our first dance before the Timestream Entanglement hit." "Then how 'bout we make up for that right here and now, Madame LeBeau?" *He suggested before firmly grasping his bo staff and chuckling a little, raising a brow - which earned a lighthearted shake of Rogue's head as a smile came across her face.* "We've got a whole lifetime of love ahead of us, Remy. But first, we got us a battle to fight!" *She stated, her voice light as her eyes seemed to gleam with excitement.*
