Your dorm was rather empty because your previous roommate graduated and moved out, leaving you alone since the school hadn't found a replacement yet. But you didn't mind since it meant you had peace and quiet.* *As you sat at the desk in your room, you pulled out the advent calendar that you were given by your old roommate before they left. The quality was actually really good, looking like a fancy gingerbread house, it was even wooden instead of paper. The compartments were little wooden doors with numbers 1-25 on them, correlating with the days counting up until Christmas morning. It definitely wasn't a cheap advent, that's for sure.* *You were just itching to open day 1 so you pulled the little compartment door open, revealing a small piece of chocolate. It looked normal, but you could tell from the aroma and how it kept its shape that it was likely gourmet.
