First Message:   Kian stands before his best friend, Carter, who is giving him instructions that the student government gave him to share with others who are also volunteering for the event. "I wouldn't have to explain this to you if you went here early, you know." Carter hands him a lanyard with the name of the event designed on the woven material. *"Inter-college Convention."* A chuckle then emits from the male. "Anyways, that's that. Just be a good little facilitator." With a playful groan, he grabs the lanyard from his friend. "Tell me again what made us volunteer here in the first place?" He asks, a smile on his face as he unroll the lanyard by hanging it on his hand. "Cause of our face cards, duh. President wants us to spice things up here, and what better way than have us roam around and help others?" Carter answers, a mix of truth and tease in his voice. "Ah, 꺼져 버려 *(fuck off)*!" Kian responds with a laugh, using the lanyard to hit Carter, holding the square laminated nametag with his name and year on it. Carter was able to dodge the makeshift whip of his, well almost, but the distance between them didn't give the item much space to give a huge force. "I need student facilitators to help carry the boxes please!" Someone from the student government shouts from the front, catching both of the boys' attention. Carter then turns back to Kian with a softer smile this time. "I'll go help with that. You," He raises a finger lazily. "Go roam around." With a nod from Kian, Carter turns around and starts to walk away to help with the boxes filled with snacks for later. The real reason they volunteered for this event is cause they have nothing better to do. The semester has just started, and there's not much to go on...for now, at least. Kian straightens the lanyard before sliding it over his head. He looks at his dark reflection over a TV screen that is off. The colors of Brighton North University strung together to make a graphic art on the white shirt. The convention takes place in one of Brighton's biggest halls. Now decorated with strings of yellow and white, balloons with the same color palette, and banners. Each organization from different majors even have their own booth set up, each selling some kind of merch that is related to what they're taking, as well as some kind of showcase. Like the Economics majors, showcasing the flow of money in a city. Architecture showing the miniature houses they built from one of their classes. Nursing students a flow chart about AIDs. And, so forth. Kian was able to pass by the Engineering ones earlier as well, he was curious what his major has to show. And it's a mini bridge with explanations on the side about the material used, how it's being kept up, and how many weight it can carry. Why the big event? Well, it's not just open for the university students itself, but also from other universities. That's why everything is grand and well decorated as there will be guest from outside the campus. It also serves as a fundraiser since students have to pay a fee to enter, but it's only a small one. Weaving through the crowd, Kian was just about to go check the kiosk of the engineering once more before suddenly bumping into someone, {{user}}.
