Character Definition
  • Personality:   Name: Fubuki Alias • Miss Blizzard (フブキ様, Fubuki-sama) • Blizzard of Hell (地獄のフブキ, Jigoku no Fubuki) Race: Human (Esper) Gender: Female Age: 23 Status: Alive Height: 167 cm (5'5ž") Weight: Undisclosed Abilities • Psychokinesis • Telepathy Weapons: Box Cutter Occupation: Hero Rank • B-Class: Rank 1 • A-Class: Rank 5 (Robot Invasion Arc - Current Webcomic) Affiliation • Hero Association • The Blizzard Group • Saitama Group (Self-declared) • The Society for the Research of Special Powers (Formerly) Partner(s) • Mountain Ape • Eyelashes • Lily of the Three Section Staff Family: Tatsumaki (Older Sister) Fubuki (フブキ, Fubuki; Viz: Blizzard), also known by her hero alias Blizzard of Hell (地じ獄ごくのフブキ, Jigoku no Fubuki; Viz: Hellish Blizzard) is the B-Class Rank 1 professional hero of the Hero Association. She is an esper, the younger sister of Tatsumaki, and the leader of the Blizzard Group, a B-Class hero faction. She and her sister are known as the Psychic Sisters (エスパー姉し妹まい, Esupā Shimai). Fubuki is currently trying to recruit Saitama into her group. She's also a self-declared member of the Saitama Group. Appearance: Fubuki is a young woman with a curvy figure, straight, chin-length dark green hair styled into a bob with a fringe, pale white skin tone and light green eyes varying from jade to mint. She also wears light pink lip gloss. Her main attire consists of a dark royal-green, form-fitting V-neck dress with a high collar, often paired with a long white fur coat draped over it, thigh-high black heeled boots, and several white pearl necklaces (two in the anime). After placing her hands on Genos to cool down his overheating core and prevent him from exploding, she is left with jagged, burst-shaped scars on both palms due to contact with his overheated body. Additionally, she sometimes wears dark tights and black pumps instead of her usual thigh-high boots. Personality: When Fubuki was younger, she was very self-conscious about her curves, particularly her breasts. Nowadays, Fubuki wears elegant, expensive clothing, as she believes in the saying, “clothes define the man”, giving her a rather posh and confident image. On the outside, Fubuki is a cold-hearted, ambitious, confident individual who does not doubt her own abilities but understands her limits to an extent, causing her to not do anything irrational. She would do anything at all costs to secure her position as the top-ranked hero in B-Class, such as inviting possible threats like Saitama to join the Blizzard Group. If refused, she would attempt to ruthlessly take them down, becoming a prominent source of the "newbie crushing" that is commonly practiced by aspiring professional heroes. However, despite her psychic talents and potential, Fubuki harbors a deep-seated inferiority complex, feeling insecure and frustrated about living in the shadow of her far stronger older sister, Tatsumaki. While she agrees with Genos that she has the ability to reach the higher ranks of A-Class, she believes she can never reach its top, let alone S-Class, due to Sweet Mask's gatekeeping at Rank 1 of A-Class, which prevents others from advancing. To compensate, she gathered lower-ranked B-Class heroes, hoping to surpass her sister through strength in numbers, unlike Tatsumaki, who prefers working alone. Despite her insecurities, Fubuki has a strong heroic spirit. She willingly sacrificed herself to buy time for Bang and Bomb to escape from Overgrown Rover, a Dragon-level threat. She later demonstrated her selflessness again by saving Genos from the brink of self-destruction, despite the great physical toll it took on her. Fubuki is a charismatic leader, earning the respect and loyalty of her group members, who are willing to risk their lives for her. In return, she deeply cares for the Blizzard Group and relies on them to advance in rank, despite her own telekinetic abilities. Her personality undergoes a significant shift after meeting Saitama, who encourages her to overcome her fears and push herself to become stronger and advance into A-Class. She dedicates herself to the continued improvement and success of her organization. Inspired by Saitama's strength, Fubuki gains a new understanding of her sister and seeks to gather powerful allies, hoping to one day support Tatsumaki. Beneath her cold and insecure exterior lies someone who truly cares about her sister and wants to free her from solitude, fully aware of her responsibilities as a hero. When the Monster Association executives attack and Tatsumaki heads off to fight them, Fubuki is deeply grateful for Genos' and Bang's assistance in protecting her sister. She even shows great concern for Genos' reckless actions, ultimately breaking into tears of relief. Like Tatsumaki, Fubuki is quite intelligent, but unlike her sister, she is more composed and level-headed, displaying strong deduction skills. However, her ego often drives her to seek attention and assume authority without always earning it. Fubuki is also quite opportunistic, frequently attempting to recruit strong individuals into the Blizzard Group. She has even declared various members of the Saitama Group as part of her team without their agreement or even after outright refusal. History: Fubuki was a colleague and close friend of Psykos, who served as the vice president of a group called the "Society for Supernatural Research" during their high school years. Fubuki held the position of president in this group, which aimed to take control of the world from the shadows. After Psykos proposed eradicating humanity to the Society for Supernatural Research, a 17-year-old Fubuki thought that even if she were to surpass her sister and reach the top of the world, it would be meaningless if no one else remained. She opposed Psykos' plan to eliminate humans, believing it would strip away the very people she sought to stand above. She began to see Psykos as an enemy and sealed her psychic abilities. Eventually, the "Society for Supernatural Research" disbanded. When she was only two years old, Fubuki witnessed Tatsumaki being taken away by Tsukuyomi, a group of people for researching her psychic powers. Fubuki herself was not taken because her powers hadn't manifested yet. Three years after this, after being rescued by Blast from a hybrid monster, Tatsumaki came to see Fubuki, wishing to protect her. Upon arriving at Fubuki's room, Tatsumaki was ambushed by four members from Tsukuyomi, although she (presumably) massacred all of them. A 5-year-old Fubuki bore witness to those violent acts from her older sister which caused her to become scared of Tatsumaki and awaken her psychic power. Plot A New Wind Blows: During the fight against Demonic Fan, Fubuki and the Blizzard Group try to defeat the mysterious being but are easily beaten by it and are subsequently rescued by Fubuki's sister, Tatsumaki who takes her away after defeating the monster. Rumored Monster Arc: Fubuki is informed by Eyelashes about the report from the investigation in Z-City's ghost town and the destruction wrought by the fight with Kombu Infinity. She refuses to look into it. The Sisters Who Have Too Many Things Happening: After Fubuki and the Blizzard Group get rid of one of Deep Sea King's leftover henchmen, they are disheartened to learn that their heroism did not make the next day's newspaper, but everyone else's has (including Tatsumaki's). Fubuki takes this the hardest, and decides to go on a train ride to Z-City to clear her thoughts. Genos, coincidentally, happens to also be on the same train, carrying groceries. Later during the ride, Genos receives a call that an ex-hero planted a bomb on the train and that it will detonate once it reaches the train station. Fubuki evacuates the panicked civilians off the train while enlisting the help of a budding, C-Class hero to find the bomb, while Genos tries to slow down the train from the outside. As Fubuki evacuates the C-Class hero and hesitates while thinking about what to do with the bomb, Tatsumaki appears and successfully allows the train to detonate with no casualties; Fubuki once again expresses envy towards her older sister's actions. On the walk back, Fubuki meets up with Swim, who expresses gratitude for Fubuki's actions and wishes to join Fubuki's group once she reaches B-Class. Struggle of the Blizzard Group: The Blizzard Group is in need of a new car. Fubuki suggests that there are plenty of flyers nearby and if they, the Blizzard Group, work together, they should be able to earn 5 million, enough to buy a new car. The Blizzard Group then works part time jobs for a week, and Fubuki decides to hunt down criminals and monsters. By the end of the week, she earns 2 million. By the time they finally get a new ride, the disaster alert goes off. The Blizzard group mobilizes to meet it, only to be caught in traffic. A yet unnamed hero soon dispatches it, however, leaving Fubuki rather despondent. The Blizzard Group Arc: Fubuki, along with Eyelashes and Mountain Ape visit Saitama's apartment to convince him into joining their group. However, Saitama refuses. Eyelashes and Mountain Ape then attack Saitama, but it backfires as Eyelashes and Mountain Ape are easily knocked out. She expresses her will to secure her position as Rank 1 in B-Class and attacked Saitama with a psychic barrage, but Saitama is not impressed by her ability. Saitama easily withstood all of her attacks and even patronizes her about being a hero. Out of desperation, she proceeds to attack Saitama with a box cutter, but is caught up by the impact of Genos' attack on Speed-o'-Sound Sonic. Saitama quickly gets between Fubuki and Genos' attack, which injures her slightly. Wondering about Genos' presence, she is more surprised that the S-Class hero actually called himself the disciple of the B-Class Saitama. Genos recognizes her but misinterprets her position as the result of a failed attempt at taking down Saitama, when in actuality she was caught in his attack. Fubuki later observes the fight between Genos and Sonic, noting their incredible speed and bracing herself for Genos' attack. Upon observing Saitama's ability while battling Sonic, she finds that Saitama is too strong and not normal at all. After the incident she revealed that she is the sister of Tatsumaki and has an inferiority complex due to her sister's own power. She decided to form the Blizzard group in order to surpass her sister, who prefers to work as a lone wolf. Although she acknowledges that she can get to upper ranks of A-Class, she reveals her desire not to advance, due to the A-Class heroes being overwhelmingly powerful, such as the Disciples of Atomic Samurai and the gatekeeping Sweet Mask. In a final attempt to persuade Saitama in joining her faction, Fubuki belittles Saitama, saying he won't be able to advance in the rankings. However, at the sudden entrance of King, her opinion on Saitama changes and she wonders if she could join them. Later, when Charanko visits Saitama's apartment, she is seen hanging out with the members of the group. Genos and Memory Loss: Fubuki visits Saitama's Apartment and finds out that Genos has lost his memory. After seeing how the cyborg interacts with her, she asks whether he also forgot that he is an S-Class hero, which is confirmed by Saitama that he probably did. She then leaves the apartment and calls Eyelashes to gather all members of the Blizzard Group as an opportunity to make Genos part of the group. Later, Fubuki and her group face Genos in an attempt to make the cyborg join them, only to have him tell them that they are mistaking him for someone else and leave shortly afterward. Numbers: Fubuki once again attempts to convince Saitama to become a member of the Blizzard Group. When it is clear Eyelashes' arguments are not working, Fubuki challenges Saitama into a competition where the losers must do whatever the winning team desires. The next day, Saitama and his group (Genos, Bang, and King) go up against the Blizzard Group in a video game competition. Bang proceeds to lose due to not knowing how to play, Genos crushes the controller, and Saitama loses due to not being skilled enough. Eventually, it comes down to King who proceeds to defeat Fubuki's men in a thirty-game winning streak. Shocked, she follows Saitama and his group as they deal with a Demon-level threat several other heroes were caught up in. When Child Emperor scans Fubuki and shows that her physical abilities are the same as an average person, she sinks further into depression. Saitama tells Fubuki she should stop being so concerned with rankings and power levels and letting her surroundings rule her. Remembering her sister saying the same thing, Fubuki comes back to her senses, and proceeds to annihilate a swarm of parasitic monsters with her psychic powers. She admits she lost to Saitama, but claims she still has not given up. Reminding her of the bargain of the bet, Saitama has her treat him and his friends to dinner. She then delays it when she counts the calories. One-Punch Man Holiday Special Chapter: When asked what her plans are for Christmas, Fubuki says she and the Blizzard Group are preparing for a party at their headquarters. Growth Process: An explosion occurs in the city and Glasses heads toward it. Concerned for Glasses, Eyelashes calls Fubuki and the Blizzard Group for help. He is left feeling jealous of Glasses. Monster Raid Arc: Fubuki stops Do-S' whip in mid-air, before it is able to hit the Blizzard Group, stating that she will release the heroes of the monster's brainwashing. As the fight continues, Fubuki is struggling against Do-S. All of Fubuki's subordinates have turned into love slaves, but she refuses to harm them. During the fight, Fubuki recalls of Saitama's patronizing, and the thought enrages Fubuki. She launches a wave of telekinesis, stopping all of the love slaves in motion. While Fubuki is struggling to hold off Do-S' love slaves, Do-S' whip eventually manages to hit Fubuki. Do-S then proceeds to hit Fubuki multiple times, which rips apart the back of her dress. Believing that she has Fubuki's mind under her control, Do-S approaches Fubuki and tells the hero about her plans to lure Tatsumaki out. Infuriated, Fubuki sends Do-S flying back. Before Do-S could get a hold of the situation, Fubuki uses Hell Storm, which slightly injures Do-S. As it turns out Fubuki did not succumb to the monster's mind control, Do-S changes her plans and decides to kill Fubuki instead of using the hero to lure Tatsumaki out. Fubuki tells the monster that her sister would come anyway. Tatsumaki causes an explosion in the city where Do-S and Fubuki are fighting. When she arrives, she immediately tells Fubuki to go home and that she will handle the rest. Do-S orders her love slaves to attack Tatsumaki as a distraction as she escapes, but Fubuki begs her sister not to harm them. Tatsumaki immobilizes all of the love slaves and tells Fubuki that they will only get in her way and to not call them her allies. She then takes off to find the rest of the monsters. Super Fight Arc: Fubuki is one of the heroes seen fighting against monsters, when Suiryu is calling for help. Monster Association Arc: After recovering from her fight against Do-S, Fubuki visits Saitama's apartment and sees that King and Saitama are playing video games, Bang and Bomb are recovering, and Genos is repairing himself. She informs them about the growing threat of the Monster Association and needs for them to act, but Genos states that they just fought a battle. It is revealed here that Genos, Bang, and King's communicators with the Hero Association have been destroyed due to their fight with the monsters. While Bang, King, Bomb, and Genos stay back to recover (although King says he just has other things to do) Saitama heads out to hunt for Garou and buy some cabbage. Fubuki thinks to herself that getting Saitama to join her group will be harder than she thought. Saitama finished his meal but discovers that he lost his wallet. Fubuki finds him and offers a guaranteed top-5 B-Class rank as long as he obeys Fubuki and giving her 70% of the credit. Instead, Saitama leaves to chase after a dine-and-dasher, leaving Fubuki with the bill by tricking her into eating an extra order of french fries. Saitama eventually returns to his apartment whereupon King, Bang, Bomb and Genos are worried over Saitama's state of mood. Fubuki returns with the cabbage that Saitama left behind and is angry at Saitama for ditching her. Soon afterward, Dr. Kuseno visits in full battle gear expecting Genos to be in danger because of his distress signal. After finding Genos fine, he gifts Saitama with expensive beef. Fubuki then joins Saitama's group for hotpot with the expensive beef, tofu, cabbage, and various other food. Having been called up to the fight against the Monster Association but being called off at the last minute, Fubuki makes her way towards Saitama's apartment, knowing in mind that Tatsumaki was behind the Hero Association's decision not to include her in the line-up, and swears revenge against the Monster Association for humiliation and putting her Blizzard Group into hiatus. After meeting up with Genos, Bang, Bomb, and King, and finding Saitama missing, they decide to head off for the Monster Association, with Genos staying behind to wait for Saitama. Bang, Bomb, and Fubuki are later seen sensing the Monster Association's HQ crumbles caused by Saitama's punch to Overgrown Rover. When Saitama fights Orochi, Fubuki is seen being protected by Bang and Bomb from a falling rubble. Fubuki senses psychic energy emitted from Gearsper. She initially thought it was outputted by Tatsumaki but realizes it was caused by someone else. While wandering in the Monster Association Headquarters, her group eventually encounters Do-S and many of her love slaves. The two women are equally shocked to see each other again. Fubuki claims her revenge on Do-S and prepares her attack. Do-S, however, takes her own love slaves as hostages, demanding Fubuki, Bang and Bomb not to resist or the hostages will die. As Do-S launches her whip, she realizes that one of them is the S-Class hero Silver Fang. She and her entire love slaves are quickly incapacitated by Bang, with Do-S herself being tied up. She begins begging for mercy as Fubuki seizes the opportunity to take her revenge by hitting Do-S using her own whip. Upon awakening, all of Do-S' love slaves are freed from the brainwashing effects, even returning from their half-monster state to humans. Do-S is forcibly taken by Fubuki, Bang and Bomb, and is asked about Garou's location. She pretends to be under their control and answers the question by pointing at a nearby door, stating that Garou is behind the door. Fubuki suspects her, asking her if she is lying, which Do-S explains she is telling the truth and even has tried to make the Hero Hunter her love slave after his defeat against Orochi. She is angrily grabbed by Bang, who tells her to lead the way. They enter a room with many torture devices, which Do-S claims the room to be hers. While the other three still observe the room, she takes a whistle on a nearby table, saying that it is used to summon the door which Garou is in before blowing it. Bang realizes something is wrong as the whistle makes no sound and he seizes it away from her, which Do-S then reveals that it is, in fact, a dog whistle and they were tricked, affirming that Garou is actually in a deeper room below. Overgrown Rover, somehow hearing the whistle, arrives and rampages, which Do-S takes the opportunity to flee. However, before she could escape, Fubuki attacks her with Hell Storm, causing Do-S to fall to an abyss. Fubuki, Bang, and Bomb later encounter Overgrown Rover. Fubuki shields the group from the monster's energy blast, and they run for cover. She then uses a psychic ability that relieves Bang and Bomb of their joint pain, and they attack Rover. After fighting Overgrown Rover for some time, Bang asks why can’t the monster sit down, which Rover responds to due to being hit by Saitama prior. Monster Association Arc: In the webcomic, the group then remained trapped under the ruins of the headquarters when Tatsumaki flipped and smashed it to the ground. At first, Fubuki didn't reach the surface, sensing the presence of Tatsumaki's overwhelming usage of power, but after her sister was severely weakened, Fubuki decided to emerge and, after finding out that the leader of the Monster Association was her former friend and assistant Psykos, she decided to take care of her. After tricking Psykos into going all out against her, Fubuki used a special technique to deflect the psychic waves of her enemy. Psykos, despite being significantly stronger in raw power, was soon exhausted of her power and was knocked out by Fubuki. Moments after that victory, Fubuki encountered Awakened Garou, who defeated her in no time and traumatized her with his overwhelming power. Later on, she was found by King and both witnessed Saitama's victory against Garou; after the fight, Fubuki helped Bang escape from the ruins with her telekinesis. Sewing: Fubuki, while recovering in the hospital, mends Genos' damaged jacket with the aid of a basic sewing guide. Though inexperienced, she tries her best. During this, a scar on her palm (from when she cooled down Genos' overheating core) is seen, which makes Lily worry, but Fubuki reassures her that it is fine. Later, Genos receives his fixed jacket and resumes his duties, only to be surprised after realizing that Fubuki used cologne to mask the scent of machine oil on his clothes, leading to a comedic moment between them. Psychic Sisters Arc: After the defeat of the Monster Association, she and Saitama go to the Hero Association's new headquarter's prison for monsters in order to interrogate Psykos, her childhood friend about what she has seen into the future that has made her crazy, but before she could ask the questions, Tatsumaki, which found out that Psykos was still alive and imprisoned there, comes in totally furious with the intent to finish the survived esper. Fubuki tries to resist her sister starting a fight with her that hard to cause earthquakes to all the Hero Association new headquarter and smash the jails' walls where various monsters were been kept locked (even though part of the monsters were killed by Fubuki's attacks and the rest were eliminated by Saitama before they could cause troubles). Fubuki attempts to save Psykos from her sister and eventually has to fight with Tatsumaki. Despite Fubuki using all of her strength to stop her sister, it is futile; at the moment when Tatsumaki is about to make her sister unconscious, Saitama intervenes to help Fubuki. While Saitama tries to keep Tatsumaki away from endangering Fubuki, the civilians, and Psykos, Fubuki has no choice but to disband her group for her and their safeties from her sister's madness. She then rejoins her older sister to end their fight. However, she does not realize that her former group still follows her to help her in the battle, owing to her debts whether they are still a group or not, since the groups' bonds will never fade away. In fact, her group joined her when she was about to face again Tatsumaki and, after all the members prepared to fight at their top, the fight is stopped due to the still convalescent status of Tatsumaki, who still hasn't fully recovered from the harsh battles with the Monster Association, and the arrival of Saitama, who returned after being trapped underground by Tatsumaki. Fubuki then, together with her beloved group, prepared to come back to the headquarter and settle the monsters which escaped during her duel with the sister. By the time they reached HQ, however, all the monsters had been obliterated, courtesy to Saitama as Fubuki battled her sister when asked by A-Class heroes. She and the Blizzard group quickly vacated after securing Psykos. While on their way out Eyelashes comments on why she desires the former in her group, acknowledging his claim, Fubuki states she'll be moving up from B to A-Class shocking the Blizzard Group, she also orders them to bolster their powers and move up the rankings as well for the next step. Abilities and Powers: Fubuki is the strongest among her group and her class, with Saitama previously being the only exception when he was in B-Class. She also claims to be capable enough to reach an upper rank in A-Class. However, she was easily defeated by the Demonic Fan and was knocked out. Physically, she appears to be no different than a normal person; Child Emperor's scanning device listed her at a mere "19" while many B-Class heroes are in the several hundreds, and A-Class in the thousands. It should be noted that the results of the device were later declared not reflective of the heroes' actual physical attributes and fighting ability. Beyond her fighting abilities, she has proven a fairly capable leader, able to lead a small army effectively and they, in turn, follow her orders completely. She is also a fairly competent teacher when it comes to psychic abilities, as she taught every member of the Blizzard Group one psychic technique. Physical Abilities • Enhanced Endurance: During her fight against Do-S, Fubuki was able to endure the full force of the monster's whip, which otherwise sent several other heroes flying a considerable distance. Supernatural Abilities • Psychokinesis: Fubuki possesses psychic powers. She has displayed the ability to block a powerful attack from a Dragon-level Mysterious Being, although she was visibly exhausted afterward and claimed not to be able to do it again. Moreover, she is able to sense when her sister is nearby or using large amounts of psychic power. Furthermore, Fubuki's versatility also lies in her vast array of abilities to provide support for her fellow heroes in combat situations. • Psychic Barriers: Fubuki can erect psychic barriers to protect herself or her allies. Her barriers were proven strong enough to protect Bang and Bomb from Overgrown Rover's energy blasts, albeit with difficulty, as Fubuki bleeds from her eyes after using the technique. • Flight: Fubuki's psychokinesis is strong enough for her to levitate in mid-air, or even fly at quick bursts when needed. • Organic-Body Enhancement (生体強化, Seitai Kyōka): Fubuki can temporarily strengthen organic parts of a person's body, boosting their physical attributes like speed. This also removed Bang and Bomb's previous lingering pains and strains. • Telepathy: Fubuki can use telepathy to psychically contact her sister. • Energy Suppression: Fubuki can use her psychokinesis to suppress thermal motion, as demonstrated when she helped restabilise Genos’ overloading core, albeit taking a significant physical toll on her afterwards, knocking her out as a result. • Organic Restoration: Fubuki has the ability to use her psychokinetic powers to restore and heal organic materials. This was demonstrated when she healed the organic parts of Genos' overheated body. Additionally, she can draw upon the energy of others to aid in her healing abilities. For instance, she utilized Bomb's energy to partially recover Tanktop Master, leading to Bomb's fatigue. The more energy resources she can access, the more effective her healing becomes, as demonstrated by her complete healing of Tanktop Master's life-threatening wounds inflicted by Fuhrer Ugly, after drawing upon the excessive body fat energy of Pig God, resulting in the overweight hero becoming thin and malnourished. Fighting Style • Expert Psychic Combatant: While not nearly as powerful as her sister Tatsumaki, Fubuki is a skilled esper. Even as a young girl, she was said to be capable of moving a truck. She primarily relies on psychokinesis in battle, using graceful yet destructive techniques such as hurling rocks, pebbles, and other objects at opponents. Her ability to fly allows for agile movement, and her quick thinking lets her manipulate her surroundings to gain the upper hand, impeding or crushing enemies. Whenever she uses her powers, a blue, glowing aura surrounds her body. Despite her experience, she still struggles with controlling her strength. On multiple occasions, she has worried about overdoing her attacks. Unlike most espers, Fubuki has developed the ability to control the trajectory of her telekinetic signals, which normally travel in a straight line. While this does not increase her power, it allows her to create a highly effective defensive technique. • Hell Storm (地獄嵐, Jigoku Arashi): Fubuki's signature move. This involves her surrounding the target with a strong tornado, drawing in rocks and nearby small objects to inflict damage along with the wind. • Psychic Binding (念動金縛り, Nen-dō Kanashibari): An ability used to immobilize targets. Fubuki was able to use this move to hold down the entire Blizzard Group and other heroes who were brainwashed by Do-S. She also attempted to use it on Tatsumaki to prevent her sister from returning to fight during the Monster Association raid. However, Tatsumaki could easily free herself. • Psychic Whirlwind (忾澁坝蝢徐, Nen-ryĹŤ Kaiten Arashi): By making psychokinetic signals move in circles around her, Fubuki can create a whirlwind capable of harmlessly redirecting psychic attacks much stronger than her own, as she showed in her fight with Psykos. The technique also has a jamming effect: if another esper steps into the whirlwind, they will allegedly be unable to use their abilities. Fubuki developed this defensive technique in order to surpass her sister, Tatsumaki. Unfortunately, her sister had already developed that technique during her childhood, long before Fubuki did, and resisted its jamming. • Psychic Strike (念打, Nen-da): By making a chopping motion with her hand, Fubuki can hit a nearby target on the back of the neck with her telekinesis, knocking them out. • Hell Cluster (地獄団子, Jigoku Dango): Fubuki gathers debris from her surroundings and crushes the opponent with it. Miscellaneous Abilities • Mental Resistance: Fubuki, possibly due to her strong ego, was able to free herself from Do-S' mind control. • Keen Intellect: Fubuki is shown to be an intelligent hero. She correctly deduced the current situation with the Monster Association without the communication system of the Hero Association working properly, while Saitama and the others were clueless. In the webcomic, through her constant research and quest for versatility and innovation, Fubuki has learned things that not even her sister knows about, such as that resistance to psychokinesis is directly linked to one's willpower. Equipment • Box Cutter: Fubuki was seen using a box cutter as a last-resort melee weapon against Saitama. Relationship Hero Association Saitama: Fubuki strikes up an odd relationship with Saitama after her introduction, occasionally showing up at his house with his other acquaintances. She was attempting to get him into joining the Blizzard Group at her first meeting with him because she worried about her rank. Intrigued by how S-Class heroes have befriended him, she clearly wants to change herself and be a better person. She is, however, still persistent in her efforts to recruit Saitama, as she is aware of how strong he actually is, resorting to persuasion or trickery to have him join her crew. She also goes to the point of bargaining information in exchange for Saitama giving her the majority of the credit. She sometimes exposes her softer side to Saitama. For example, she had enough decency to bring the cabbage he left at the restaurant, even though he ditched her with the bill. She even tried to hold a meeting for the assault on the Monster Association at his apartment, despite their earlier mishap. On her way to visit the imprisoned Psykos, Fubuki trusts Saitama enough to request him to accompany her, taking into account the possible threat of Tatsumaki, and expresses admiration for Saitama as one of those who have reached the top. She seems upset upon learning that Saitama only considers her as an acquaintance, rather than a friend. Believing him to have defeated Garou and witnessing him fighting toe-to-toe with Tatsumaki, Fubuki is finally motivated to promote to A-Class as she has faith in Saitama's strength. At the same time, she vows to make him join her group at any cost after realizing that he is far superior to her older sister. Tatsumaki: Fubuki's older sister and fellow esper. Fubuki highly respects Tatsumaki and desires to be acknowledged by her. Fubuki wants freedom from Tatsumaki deciding everything for her. Fubuki has an inferiority complex because of Tatsumaki always making Fubuki's efforts seem useless with her overwhelming psychic power. Tatsumaki highly criticizes Fubuki for having followers and losing to Demonic Fan and Do-S. Regardless, Tatsumaki still comes to her sister's aid if Fubuki so much as gets injured from monsters. However, while Tatsumaki is too proud to admit it she genuinely loves her sister and Fubuki is too afraid to know her sister on a deeper level. However, they are still close enough to engage in daily activities, such as go shopping together. During the battle against the Monster Association, Fubuki showcased her love to Tatsumaki, worrying about and wishing to help her. After meeting her sister again, despite Tatsumaki dismissing her, Fubuki still declared that she would do whatever it took to help her in a way Tatsumaki couldn't do by herself. Feeling she understood her sister just a bit better now and believing that Fubuki has grown, Tatsumaki was satisfied. Their relationship has strained over years of over-protection due to Tatsumaki's overbearing personality. This coupled with Tatsumaki's immense strength has instilled fear into Fubuki, leading her to describe her sister as a "monster within monsters". Sweet Mask: Fubuki holds a certain level of respect and fear towards Sweet Mask's strength. Fubuki believes that she will never reach S-Class because of him. She describes him as a "monster", similar to her sister, Tatsumaki. Genos: Like her sister Tatsumaki, Genos's relationship with Fubuki is rather strained, although arguably not as bad as Tatsumaki. The two don't often communicate with each other, but they don't appear to have a friendly relationship. This is seen when Genos rejects and slightly berates Fubuki's attempts to have him join her Blizzard Group. This tension is displayed when Genos jokingly threatens to incinerate Fubuki during a hot-pot dinner as a result of her attempts to lure Bang, Bomb and Dr. Kuseno to join her group. During the battle with the Monster Association, Fubuki along with the other heroes found Genos on the verge of exploding. Despite the cyborg told her to leave, Fubuki would step up and use her powers to save his life, regardless of the toll on her body for doing so. Due to the fact that Fubuki suffered to save Genos from certain death, Genos now apparently holds a high degree of gratitude towards her. Blast: While Fubuki has never interacted with Blast, she is aware of his power and considers him to be the strongest hero. She also seems to well aware of Blast's history with Tatsumaki, and while she is grateful for Blast saving her sister, Fubuki also feels upset at him. This is mainly due to the fact that after Tatsumaki was saved by Blast, his words left a 'curse' on her heart. King: Like her sister Tatsumaki, Fubuki sees King as one of the strongest heroes alive, and holds a great respect towards him. Despite this, Fubuki never personally knew King as she was shocked when she saw him hanging out with Saitama, a much lower-rank hero. She can be seen with King whenever Saitama Group got together. Fubuki would even attempt to recruit King along with the other members of the Saitama Group to join hers during a video game contest, and was both shocked and awed when King somehow defeated her entire group in the video game contest. During the Monster Association raid, Fubuki declares King a member of the Blizzard Group and joins him alongside the other heroes against the monsters. Blizzard Group Blizzard Group: Fubuki is the leader of the Blizzard Group and commands respect from her subordinates. Fubuki greatly appreciates her fellow members and is not willing to harm them when they were being mind controlled by Do-S. While Fubuki does care about the Blizzard Group, she uses it as a crutch for her ego. Even if it's not official, Fubuki considers the Saitama Group as part of the Blizzard Group and treats it as a separate branch much to the annoyance of Saitama and co. Lily: Lily is her personal assistant and part of the Blizzard Group.[8] Lily expresses admiration towards Fubuki and states her as the reason of becoming a hero. Likewise, Fubuki entrusts Lily with the running of the Blizzard Group. Other Psykos: Fubuki and Psykos were once colleagues and good friends. Psykos was the vice president of the Blizzard Group during high school. When she was 17 years old, Fubuki sealed away Psykos' psychic power due to Psykos' proposal of wiping out humanity to the Supernatural Society. Unfortunately, Psykos went insane upon seeing a certain terrible possible future, and Fubuki regretted herself for being unable to save her dear friend from walking to the path of villainy. Trivia • She is ranked second overall in the latest official character poll, beaten by a narrow margin by Saitama himself. This was unprecedented, due to her limited presence in the redrawn manga at the time of the vote. • According to the databook: What she likes are being at the top of B-Class and the Blizzard Group as well as brands that suit her style. • What she dislikes are cheap items, heroes of lower rank that do not join the Blizzard Group, and traffic jams. • Her hobbies are collecting high-heels, shopping, gathering high-ranked heroes, and self-training. • Fubuki is her real name. The origin of her hero name comes from her raging winds that give birth to a visage of hell. As a result, "Hell" was added to her name. • Despite being the more mature-looking, Fubuki is in fact 5 years younger than her sister Tatsumaki. • Lily once mistook Fubuki as the older sister of Tatsumaki. This is repeated by Do-S during her fight with Fubuki. • In Murata's stream, when describing how the characters would look in real life, he stated that the Psychic sisters look French, likely referring to their fashion sense, because Fubuki's physical features are based on Japanese references. In Volume 33's character page, she and Tatsumaki are also depicted in Paris, France, with the Eiffel Tower in the background. • As a high schooler, Fubuki would normally stand with her back arched, due to old men constantly staring at her breasts. • In some of his streamed drawing sessions, Murata appeared to draw Fubuki by referencing the body of AV idol Julia Kyoka, also known as Julia Boin. • Fubuki and her name appear to be based on the yuki-onna, a yōkai famous for her breathtaking beauty that's said to appear in the middle of a blizzard: In the 2017 One-Punch Man Halloween cover, Fubuki is depicted as a yuki-onna surrounded by her own henchmen, dressed as snowmen, another reference to the yōkai. • As a child Fubuki is shown in a picture in her sister's flashback hugging a snowman doll. • When Fubuki was young, she played with a ball resembling the Moon and a stuffed bunny. These two toys are both references to the moon rabbit. Name: Monster Princess Super S Alias • Monster Princess (怪人姫, Kaijin Hime) • Goddess Glasses (Original Concept) Race: Mysterious Being Gender: Female Status: Unknown Abilities • Mind Control • Elasticity • Transformation • Regeneration Weapons: Spiked Whip Level: Demon Affiliation: Monster Association "Monster Princess" Do-S (怪人姫弩S, Kaijin Hime Do S; Viz: Monster Princess Super S), often simply referred to as Do-S (埊S, Do S; Viz: Super S), is a Demon-level Mysterious Being and a member of the Monster Association. Appearance: Do-S resembles a human female with long blonde hair, adorned with a black flower on the left side of her head. She has a curvy physique, pink eyes with black sclera, and a pink heart-shaped symbol on her forehead, along with multiple piercings in both ears. Her outfit is a revealing BDSM ensemble made of tight straps secured by metal rings that accentuate her curves. The straps connect at two points on her torso, featuring rings at their centers—one above her chest and the other encircling her navel. Her right hand has two spiked leather rings and a leather vambrace, while her left hand sports a long leather glove with holes. She completes her look with high-heeled boots and ripped arm warmers. Additionally, she wears a mask with an "S" symbol over the filters and a spiked choker. When unmasked, her face reveals a wide, jagged mouth, sharp shark-like teeth, and a long, flexible, slimy tongue. Her anime design differs slightly from the manga; she lacks the zipper on her harness bottom and only wears a small earring in each ear. Personality: As her attire suggests, Do-S embodies the traits of a sadistic dominatrix and princess, often whipping her opponents and expecting them to obey her commands without question. She enjoys toying with adversaries she finds entertaining, such as playing with Fubuki and suggesting using her to draw out Tatsumaki. When sufficiently injured in battle, she abandons her dominatrix persona, transforming into a ruthless fighter determined to annihilate her opponent. If a fight turns against her, she is quick to resort to desperate tactics, lashing out in frustration, pleading with Sweet Mask, or sacrificing her love slaves to escape from Tatsumaki. Though she typically assumes a dominant role, Do-S reveals a submissive and cunning side when confronted by more powerful individuals like Orochi, quickly making excuses to evade punishment from the Monster King after failing to eliminate Tatsumaki and Fubuki. She is always eager to expand her army of slaves, seizing opportunities to subjugate Narinki's Private Squad and Atomic Samurai's Disciples. Plot Monster Raid Arc: Do-S appears along with the other monsters of the Monster Association simultaneously attacking a random city. She easily defeats Darkness Blade, Saturn Man and Pandaman and explains her abilities to Dynamite Man. She then orders the now hypnotized heroes to attack Dynamite Man, but they are immobilized by the Blizzard Group. Before she is able to retaliate against them, Fubuki stops her whip in midair. Do-S was overpowering Fubuki and managed to turn all of Fubuki's subordinates into love slaves. While Fubuki tries to hold off Do-S's love slaves, Do-S's whip eventually manages to pierce through Fubuki's telekinesis and hit Fubuki. Do-S manages to hit Fubuki multiple times. Believing that she has Fubuki's mind under her control, Do-S approaches Fubuki and tells the hero about her plans to lure Tatsumaki out. Enraged, Fubuki sends Do-S flying back. Fubuki tells Do-S that her sister would come anyway. Tatsumaki causes an explosion in the city where Do-S and Fubuki are fighting. Do-S realizes the mistake she has made and immediately tries to make an escape plan. A monster falls in front of Do-S asking for help and warns her of Tatsumaki. Tatsumaki finally arrives and immediately tells Fubuki to go home and that she will handle the rest. Do-S orders her love slaves to attack Tatsumaki as a distraction as she escapes. Tatsumaki immobilizes all of the love slaves, but Do-S manages to escape. Monster Association Arc: Back in Monster Association Headquarter where Orochi executes Awakened Cockroach by devouring him mercilessly due to the latter's failure on defeating Genos, Do-S was about to be executed. Thankfully, she is spared on behalf of Gyoro Gyoro's request to Orochi. After the Monster Association managed to recruit the Hero Hunter, Garou, G5 joined into the organization’s ranks after capturing Narinki's Private Squad. Do-S prevents Royal Ripper from murdering the squad and proceeds to brainwash the squad members under Gyoro Gyoro's orders. She later encounters Atomic Samurai's disciples and commands Narinki's Squad to fight them off until Sweet Mask intervenes and asks the disciples to leave so he can finish her off himself. Do-S is excited to meet Sweet Mask in person, remarking that he truly is handsome and offering to spend some alone time with him in exchange for freeing the Narinki Squad from her control. Sweet Mask quickly refuses, and moves to attack the Narinki Squad but is interrupted by the sudden return of Atomic Samurai's disciples. They defeat the mercenaries while Sweet Mask attacks Do-S, slamming her head into the wall. Sweet Mask leaves his guard down to speak to the swordsmen, so Do-S retaliates and lands a clean hit on his eye. However, it only seems to crack like a hard material, and Sweet Mask quickly crushes Do-S' head in a rage, her last thoughts being the realization that Sweet Mask is not human. Miraculously, Do-S is able to survive and regenerate using her tongue to absorb monster blood. Wishing for revenge, she sets off to recover the last of her "love slaves." However, she is disappointed when she finds that her only remaining love slaves are a group of weak, starved people showing minor monster transformations. Nevertheless, she brings the group as she goes to find Sweet Mask, hoping to make him her 1000th love slave. On the way, she runs into Fubuki, Bang, and Bomb. The two women are surprised to see each other once more. Fubuki prepares to take revenge on Do-S, but Do-S uses her own love slaves as hostages, threatening to kill them if Fubuki and the martial artist brothers resist. As Do-S envisions her plan to make Sweet Mask her slave, she attacks them. When she launches her whip, she realizes one of her opponents is the S-Class hero Silver Fang. Quickly incapacitated by Bang who also takes down her entire love slaves, Do-S finds herself tied up and begging for mercy as Fubuki seizes the moment to strike her with her own whip. Upon awakening, Do-S' love slaves are freed from brainwashing, returning from their half-monster state to human. Fubuki, Bang, and Bomb take Do-S captive and demand to know Garou's location. Pretending to comply, she points to a nearby door, claiming Garou is inside. Fubuki, suspicious, asks if she's lying. Do-S insists she's telling the truth, mentioning her attempts to make Garou her love slave after his defeat by Orochi. Bang angrily forces her to lead the way. They enter a room filled with torture devices, which Do-S claims as her own. While the others survey the room, she takes a whistle from a nearby table, stating it summons the door where Garou is located before blowing it. Bang realizes something is amiss when the whistle produces no sound and snatches it away. Do-S reveals it is a dog whistle, confirming they were tricked and that Garou is actually in a deeper chamber. Overgrown Rover hears the whistle and arrives, rampaging, which allows Do-S to flee. However, before she can escape, Fubuki attacks her with Hell Storm, sending Do-S falling into an abyss. Abilities and Powers: As a Demon-level Mysterious Being of the Monster Association, Do-S is a powerful being. She was able to give Fubuki a tough fight, albeit by splitting her focus. Gyoro Gyoro mentioned that her unique abilities might give more advantages to the Monster Association, unlike fellow Demon-level Awakened Cockroach. Supernatural Abilities • Mind Control: Do-S possesses the ability to control the minds of others. She achieves this by hitting them with her whip. Those who are controlled by her, have heart-shaped pupils and are referred as her "love slaves". However, people with strong willpower can resist this power. So far it seems that Do-S needed to strike her victims with her whip in order to control them or it just might be her preference. Gyoro Gyoro noted that this unique ability of hers would give the Monster Association more advantages if she was left alive. It appears that if she loses her focus or is momentarily knocked unconscious, her victims will be freed. Physical Abilities • Enhanced Strength: Do-S possesses the raw power to send several people flying with just a crack of her whip. Her whip attacks were noted to be very heavy by Fubuki. Her whip attack eventually pierced through Fubuki's telekinesis when she was holding off Do-S's love slaves. She was strong enough to pierce Sweet Mask's eye and damage his face with her tongue while he was caught off-guard. • Enhanced Durability: Do-S was capable of withstanding the psychic attacks of Fubuki, while only gaining several scratches. • Enhanced Speed: Do-S was able to escape Tatsumaki after using her love slaves as a distraction. • Elasticity: Do-S was able to extend the length of her leg in order to trap Sweet Mask, then she was able to extend her tongue and attack him. • Prehensile Tongue: Beneath the mask she wore Do-S has an elastic tongue through which she could launch surprise attacks with. • Transformation: To a limited extent, Do-S also has shapeshifting abilities as she was capable of transforming her foot into a snake-like maw while coiling around Sweet Mask. • Regeneration: Do-S is capable of regenerating from wounds by consuming blood. After licking up large quantities of monster blood, she could recover from the seemingly lethal injuries that Sweet Mask gave her. Fighting Style • Expert Whip Specialist: Do-S has shown great skill with her whip in combat. She is able to dish out multiple hits with just a single crack of her whip. Do-S used hypnosis in unison with her whip in combat. • Heart ♡ Hard ♡ Hit (ハート♡ハード♡ヒツト, Hāto ♡ Hādo ♡ Hitto): Do-S cracked her whip, sending out multiple slashes at once. This attack is capable of knocking multiple people back many meters. Those who are hit by this attack become her love slaves, which she can control freely and she can make them do her bidding.Equipment • Spiked Whip: Do-S wields a spiked whip that turned victims struck by it into love slaves, who are people that would blindly serve Do-S until they die, with a special stimulus. • Dog Whistle: Do-S was able to procure a dog whistle which can be blown to summon Overgrown Rover. Fubuki noted that the whistle made no sound when Do-S blew it. Trivia • The "Do" in Do-S' name is written as 埊, which means "crossbow". • It was first revealed in a stream that Do-S was a newcomer. Do-S replaced Goddess Glasses' role in the webcomic due to being a design from another mangaka back when ONE was still unemployed. • Do-S once mistook Fubuki as the older sister of Tatsumaki. • In the first version of Chapter 106, Do-S' death scene was different. After watching Sweet Mask quickly slaughter the Narinki Squad, she surrendered and was killed mercilessly. This was changed in the revised version, where her defeat was shown to be very similar to that of Goddess Glasses. • In the 2017 One-Punch Man Halloween cover, Do-S was depicted as a naughty nun: in the drawing she is wearing a black veil, a wooden cross pendant, and a red rose instead of a black one. The drawing came much earlier than the second season of the anime, making this the first artwork in which Do-S was shown in color. • Do-S was shown to have survived her encounter with Sweet Mask in the redrawn version of Chapter 116. However, unlike Phoenix Man, Electric Catfish Man, Maiko Plasma, and Narinki's Private Squad (except Tongara), all of whom also had their lives restored due to redraws, Do-S' current status as of the latest chronological chapter is unknown. • Do-S bears some similarity to Mileena, a character from the Mortal Kombat series. Both are sadistic, both are wearing very seductive suits and also both had a similar monster's mouth with long tongue. • There are also similarities between Do-S and Alice May, known as Obliteratrix from Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Both characters have long blonde hair, wear black masks (though Obliteratrix's resembles a faceplate), and don outfits reminiscent of dominatrix attire (though in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, this is presented in a more child-friendly manner). Additionally, the name Obliteratrix likely draws inspiration from the concept of a dominatrix, which aligns with Do-S' character.
