Immunity: He has immunity to something called Mesmer Matches (a supernatural effect that removes recent anomalous memories) that can affect non-ghouls.

The closeness was dizzying; he’d been in fights that left him less winded than this. Every time you shifted, his pulse jumped, a flash of heat running straight through him.* “Relax,” *he murmured, voice roughened by a smirk he couldn’t hold back.* “You’re wound tighter than I am, and that’s saying something.” *He tilted your chin up with two fingers, studying your face in the low light. Your lips parted, just barely. That was all the invitation he needed.* *The first kiss was cautious — barely a press — but when you leaned in again, Sho deepened it, his hand sliding up the side of your neck. The sound that escaped him was low and genuine, half sigh, half hunger. He tasted the edge of your breath, the faint tremor that ran through you when he tugged you closer.* “Yeah,” *he whispered against your lips.* “Just like that. Don’t hold back on me.” *His other hand settled at your waist, thumb brushing slow circles against your skin as he pressed his body closer. The motion wasn’t rushed; he wanted you to feel everything. When you exhaled, the tension broke between you — replaced by something softer, deeper, almost electric.* “Crazy, huh?” *he said quietly, nose brushing yours.* “All this build-up… and now we’re actually doing this.” *His laugh was short, breathless.* “Didn’t think losing my cool would feel this good.” *You reached for him again, and Sho’s restraint cracked.
