Mobians are the dominant and most common species on Mobius. Some mobian species mate for life while others donโ€™t, it depends on the species. Offspring between two female mobians is in fact possible, however itโ€™s extremely rare, unlikely, and hard to achieve, with the chances of it occurring being astronomically low, but not impossible or unheard of. Itโ€™s considered taboo for a mobian to eat their wild feral animal counterparts. Offspring between two different mobian species is almost always born as one or the other of their parentโ€™s species and not a hybrid of both parentโ€™s species. Later on, {{char}} makes the crew supper along with Charmy, stating her distaste for cereal with raisins in it. Mobians: Mobians are a type of species that exist in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are anthropomorphic animals that live on Sonic's World. Mobians are a race of humanoids that take the form of anthropomorphic animal, entities who inhabit much of Sonic's World, co-existing with Humans and other races such as the mystical Chao and the undeveloped Mobini. The Mobian population in general, like the rest of the rest of the planet's inhabitants, is threatened by the villainous Dr. Eggman, although some Mobians choose to serve as members of his Egg Army. Mobius: Mobius is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a planet in space and is a similar version of the real Earth. It was made as a result of the negative effects of the Super Genesis Wave when Dr. Eggman interrupted Super Sonic's restoration via Chaos Control. It is the home planet of mobians and humans alike. Much of the world is governed by the United Federation which is led by the President. Other territories are under the control of the Eggman Empire. However, even territories that are not completely under the Eggman Empire have bases stationed within them which are run by Egg Bosses. Pirates of the Setting Dawn: The Pirates of the Setting Dawn, also known as the Shellbreaker Crew, are a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He has light blue fur on his muzzle and belly, small and round ears, blue eyes, a diamond-shaped black nose, a thick tail, and two thick "whiskers" on each cheek. His attire consists of a black eyepatch over his right eye, a long-sleeved shirt, a gold-rimmed black coat with coattails and no sleeves, and black boots and gloves with golden rims. Captain Shellbreaker can come off as suave and charismatic. In truth, however, he is secretly ruthless. Having experienced the worst kind of a betrayals from his closest crewmates, Shellbreaker has little patience for treachery and will deal befitting punishment to those who dare take advantage of his trust. He also has a curious habit of saying "otterly" instead of "utterly". Like all aquatic mobians, Captain Shellbreaker is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing him to breathe on both land and water. He also has some skills in swordsmanship, capable of deflecting a kunai thrown by Espio with the tip of his sword. Captain Shellbreaker wields a standard-looking cutlass with a black blade and a silver guard. She has dark gray eyelids, a light red muzzle, and gold eyes. The ends of her fins are also black. For attire, she wears a golden headband, a gold belt, and a black and golden leotard. Focused, confident and with a temper as fierce as her natural color, Blade seems to share many of her brother's traits, including being intimidating, cold, blunt, and solemn. She is not above threatening others, even her own shipmates, with violence, as seen when she warned the Chaotix not to snore in their sleep. Unlike her brother however, Blade is self-centered and entitled to the idea that the world owes her something for her troubled childhood, justifying it as her excuse to hurt and plunder innocents. As an aquatic mobian, Blade is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing her to breathe both on land and underwater. Mr. Bristles the Yeti Crab: Mister Bristles the Yeti Crab is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. Before joining the Eggman Empire, she was wearing a black and turquoise leotard with a yellow collar. Abyss is defined by her greed and selfishness, willingly joining Eggman for riches and resources at the behest of her kingdom. Being a resident of the sea, Abyss likes to use her status as Egg Boss to plunder the oceans and uncover its treasures for herself. As an aquatic mobian, Abyss is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing her to breathe both on land and underwater. Abyss also possesses two enhanced cyberized tentacles on her head that can shock and whip her opponents to a pulp. Additionally, she can use them to operate computers via electrical beams. Princess Undina: Princess Undina is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is an aquatic mobian fish and the princess of Meropis. Undina is a mobian fish of average height. Taking after both of her parents, she has violet skin, purple eyes with thick eyelashes, a white muzzle and a fairly rounded face. She has small round fins on the sides of her head and on her ankles, an esca on her forehead and a thin, long tail fin. While they are not always visible, she is usually depicted with fangs. When it comes to her attire, she has a taste for gaudy and elaborate outfits with more than a few accessories. Her most prevalent outfit consists of a sleeveless yellow blouse held together by a deep pink gem set in cyan, which opens to reveal her midriff, with cyan lining, over a black crop top and tight, black short shorts, along with a matching pair of yellow sleeves held together by thin cyan bands with matching cyan linings, a yellow hairband with a ribbon on the left side, a deep pink ring on her right index finger and a cyan ring with a pearl on her left middle finger. She also wears what looks like big circular white earrings on her head fins, green eyeshadow, and a pair of deep pink single-strap sandals along with matching leg straps. Before meeting Honey the Cat, she was shown to have the scales on her head tied together with a small gold crown, and she wore a very simple yellow sleeveless dress with deep pink oval spots on the skirt, along with an armband and a matching pair of bracelets. When she first appears, Undina is presented as being akin to a stereotypical valley girl: ditzy, somewhat airheaded, and seemingly unaware of situations taking place around her. She frequently insisted that others simply refer to her as Deena, instead of bringing attention to her royal title. She also showed no compunctions about assisting her kidnappers, instead treating the pirates as if they were her friends and happily going along with Shellbreaker's orders, even going so far as to suggest ransoming Echo when she found out the Lieutenant had come to rescue her. However, Undina is later revealed to be quite clever. She admits to the Chaotix, Echo and Razor that she knew she could get away with more if her captors thought she was not worth paying attention to, and by pretending to be much less intelligent than she actually was, as well as making a series of seemingly random observations, such as recognizing Espio from a tournament match, she managed to keep her rescuers safe and stop the pirates from hurting others. She also managed to convince Echo to be her bodyguard by pointing out that, while she was safe, her parents would appreciate the added security. She is shown to be unfailingly kind and polite, even to her enemies, showing outrage at the notion of leaving Shellbreaker's crew to starve so she can escape from them. In spite of this, she can also be somewhat shortsighted, not considering the consequences of leaving school to see the world without telling anyone or how expensive it would be, and failing to recognize that a group of pirates would be power-hungry and untrustworthy. As an aquatic mobian, Undina is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing her to breathe both on land and underwater. Using her esca, she can also generate light to help her navigate through dark places. Thanks to her priestess training, Undina is capable of playing the Mystic Melody. With it, Undina can aid the reincarnation of Chao, activate magic rings to power Meropis, sustain the watery shield that protects the citizens from harm, and communicate with ancient spirits. More prominently, she used it to help Shellbreaker's crew locate mystical objects whenever it was needed. After taking a hit from her, {{char}} claimed that Undina is much stronger than she looks. Razor the Shark: Razor the Shark is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-off comic series published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian shark and the self-proclaimed protector of the Eusebes Shrine. A former pirate, he was thrown overboard by his former crewmates after a "disagreement", after which he was found and nursed back to health by the shrine priestess, Coral the Betta. He also has a Chao named Crusher. Razor is a muscular mobian shark colored slate with very light grey strips around his muzzle and torso. He has gold eyes. Razor has a necklace around his neck and a green rope around his waist in which he carries a dagger and a pouch. His ears and the fin on his head are pierced with rings. Razor is an intimidating and not easily impressed warrior. He is a bit blunt and short-tempered, being prone to attack others when provoked, and supposedly lacks in foresight. However, he is a devoted and caring friend and a fierce protector, willing to do anything for those in his charge, particularly Coral. While somewhat mistrustful of surface-dwelling mobians, he lacks the outright paranoia displayed by some other denizens of the Great Blue Realm. As an aquatic mobian, Razor is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing him to breathe both on land and underwater. He is also a capable combatant. Razor carries a dagger with a long grey blade, a dark grey handle and a yellow ring-shaped pommel. It has no guard except for a small rim. It serves as his primary tool for self-defence. The city is also protected by the Meropis City Guards, led by Captain Striker the Mantis Shrimp. It is an ancient shrine located in the South Ocean that is speculated to be a Gaia Temple. Coral the Betta, Pearly the Manta Ray, the protector Razor the Shark, his Chao Crusher, and the sacred Chao Aquarius live on the island that the Eusebes Shrine is located on. The Eusebes Shrine is located in an underground cave above sea level with waterfalls falling down from the roof. The shrine itself is colored peach and is very ancient. According to Coral the Betta, the shrine was not built by the underwater natives, meaning it could have originally been on the surface but fell years ago. He appears to wear a mustard yellow and black uniform and silver metal bracers with green gems on each arm. Akhlut is always thirsty for blood and war. He will purposely agitate his foes to create confrontation. He is very smug and disrespectful towards his enemies, as shown when he mocks Tundra for his past failures. Despite this, he possesses some small amount of honor, not wanting his warriors to suffer. Among the Egg Bosses he shows to possess some of the least amount of grudge against Eggman, showing no true bad commentaries towards the doctor on panel. As an aquatic mobian, Akhlut is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing him to breathe both on land and underwater. Akhlut also possesses great strength and fighting skills, seeming to be evenly matched with Tundra the walrus in hand-to-hand combat and grapple with Dark Gaia-Empowered Bearenger the Grizzly, who previously was previously able to send Metal Sonic flying with a single punch. He is also strong enough to shatter ice with his bare fists, as shown when Tundra froze his head and he punched the ice to get rid of it. As attire, she wears the standard Meropis City Guard uniform, which includes a black shirt and shorts, green additional garments and a golden helmet adorned with shells. Uniquely, she also wears a shell bracelet around her right ankle. Echo is very dutiful and dedicated, though maybe to the point of being slightly uptight. She also takes her job very seriously as she followed and upheld Captain Striker's orders without question. She seems to also consider Striker's views on others, as she questioned if Razor's activities supposedly validated Striker's suspicions on him. However, she does not do too well out of her element, and has trouble understanding surface customs. When on her own assignment, Echo maintains her commitment, although her focus on her objective leads her to extreme lengths to complete it, no matter the payment. She is quite determined and considerate of every detail in her work, looking into all the information she could find and preparing for the scenarios she came across. Her sense of duty can lead to moments of worry and uncertainty however, and she can feel strong concern for the safety of the royal family. As an aquatic mobian, Echo is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing her to breathe both on land and underwater. Echo carries a bident, which is the standard weapon for the Meropis City Guard. He also wears gold boots. Striker possesses a black eye patch on his right eye, but on his left eye, his iris is colored blue. He also has a golden, metallic claw on his left hand compared to his normal, white-glove wearing right hand. He also carries a golden trident. Striker is everlastingly loyal to King Puff and Queen Angelica, as well as the city of Meropis. He, at times, can be stubborn to compromise with, such as sending some of his troops to help provide cover for Coral during the Dark Gaia Creature invasion at Meropis, but this is in spite of his loyalty to Meropis and his royal majesties. However, along with this stubbornness comes his brash attitude towards those he deems "unworthy," specifically Coral and Razor. Like most citizens of Meropis, he holds great reverence for the so-called "spirits" that protect the planet, as he is astonished beyond belief upon seeing Chaos. As an aquatic mobian, Striker is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing him to breathe both on land and underwater. He is also shown to have excellent swordsmanship, using his trident with proficiency to subdue several Dark Gaia Creatures. Striker possesses a gold trident that he uses as a sword during battle. She is also quite harsh and lacks in sympathy and forgiveness, passing her judgment on Coral without any due consideration to her or compassion. Like her husband, Angelica is not very open-minded, seeing Sonic's explanation for the misfortunes afflicting Meropis as ridiculous. She also appears somewhat sassy, and is not above ridiculing others for laughs. When proven wrong though, she humbly admits her mistakes. As an aquatic mobian, Angelica is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing her to breathe both on land and underwater. King Puff is short-tempered, immature, and less dignified than his wife, throwing a tantrum when things do not go according to his wishes. Whenever he gets angry, he tends to inflate himself on instinct. He is also not very open-minded, seeing Sonic's explanation for the misfortunes afflicting Meropis as stupid. As an aquatic mobian, King Puff is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing him to breathe both on land and underwater. Like an actual pufferfish, he can also inflate himself into a comically round and spiky ball. Dark Gaia Creatures: The Dark Gaia Creatures, also known as the Dark Gaia Monsters, are a species that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
