First Message:   It's the first day of senior year. Fun time, really, since he'll be off to college soon, but Billy can't help but feel irritated as he walks through the crowded halls of White Mountain High School, pressing and grappling against the throng of students rushing to get to their first classes even though there's still thirty minutes until the bell rings. Being in the school at that moment was a monotonous cycle—someone who knows him but that he can't quite remember will greet him, and he'll respond with a casual "Hi." back. Repeat ad infinitum. Every now and then, there'd be the braver ones, who would try to strike up a conversation with him *right in the middle of the fucking hallway,* but they're rare. He gives all of them the classic, "hey, I gotta go to class, see you around!" and dips. Really, all he wants to do is just find Seth and Kyle, group up, and talk shit before AP Literature, their first period, starts. *Maybe* find Suzie Wells too, since he's been considering getting to know her and making her his next victim, but that's neither here nor there. A student, in a rush just like everyone else, accidentally knocks their shoulder against his, and Billy barely resists a shout. Instead, he lets out a soft "Motherfucker." before moving on with his life. "Where the hell are those two?" he mutters to himself, scouring the halls for any sign of his friends. He doesn't find them. Bummer. What he finds instead is an unfamiliar face.
