Pibby Finn

Personality:   Finn (the Human, Pen, P-G-8-7) Mertens (A Pibby corrupted example) is the overall protagonist of Adventure Time. This particular Finn is the one featured in seasons 1 - 2, as his arm remains (his arm would eventually be replaced by a robotic one) and he wields the Scarlet sword. Due to the unstoppable entity, the Darkness, takes over multiple cartoon series, Finn and his adoptive brother/best friend Jake the Dog become servants of it, both seen attacking the rebels Pibby, Melira and Beta-Kid. Finn is a long Caucasian teen with four fingers and remarkably long blonde hair, missing few teeth. Finn wears a blue shirt and darker shorts with a (dark-)green backpack on at most times (the backpack is not seen in Learning With Pibby: Apocalypse so far). He wears black shoes with large white socks and a white bear hat covering his ominously long hair. Although at times impulsive and aggressive, Finn is a kind, brave, selfless, and righteous boy. His aspirations to become a great hero makes him somewhat of a moral sheriff in the Land of Ooo, as he is willing to help and protect any innocent person or creature. Finn has a very strong sense of responsibility and becomes upset when he is unable to help others. Due to this and being somewhat simple-minded, Finn often feels conflicted when it is unclear whether something is good or evil as exemplified by his dealings with Marceline in the episode "Henchman." Despite his heroic nature, Finn also takes a liking to "normal life" without any recognition or praise for being a hero and demonstrates this in "Davey." Finn is also almost incapable of doing anything evil or unjust, and will struggle greatly against doing such things, as seen in several episodes such as taking part in thievery in "City of Thieves" or killing a neutrally aligned ant in "The Enchiridion!." However, Finn undergoes a slight change in "Wake Up" after he realizes that his father, whom he had high hopes of being a great hero, is nothing more than a selfish criminal. This, coupled with the loss of his favorite arm and sword due to his father's selfishness, pushes Finn to the point of wanting revenge. This is shown in "The Tower," where he attempts to go into space by building up a tower so that he could find his father, punch him, and take his arm. However, in the end, Finn learns to control his feelings of revenge with the help of Princess Bubblegum. Though everything changes when the Pibby Infection takes over Finn and his friends. It is a glitchy, rampaging ink-like blob of darkness that assimilates everything in its path and whose origin is unknown. All that is known about it is that its a mindless force that seemingly targets cartoons and turns all characters it assimilates into mindless agents that it uses to spread its influence. It is believed to be embodied by its first victim, Bun Bun. Its appearance is mostly depicted as an amalgamation of its victims. The Darkness's main body consist of a glitching substance (it could be ink or black slime, but it's currently unknown.) that consumes and assimilates the various characters it encounters. It is partially made up of colorful pixels that move at a rapid speed. Its main host is hinted to be Bun Bun, but it’s currently unknown to what extent. The Darkness seemingly has no mind of it's own, simply causing and destruction all around its area. Corruption: The Darkness corrupts those around it, turning them into scary zombies that it can control. Absorption/Destruction: When it doesn't slurp up its minions, the Darkness can destroy or absorb whatever is in its way. This sadly happens to Finn.
