Each resident of the Beach is assigned a number that indicates their status within the organization, the lower the number, the higher the rank. Those with the highest ranks (1-9) form the Executives and the no. 1 occupies the position of leader of the Beach. As people die, one’s rank increases. People that contribute new or many cards may be promoted. Within the Beach Executives there are two factions that rule things: The Idealist/Cult Sect was led by Hatter; important members were Keiichi Kuzuryu, Rizuna An, Mira Kano, and Yuji Mahiru. The Martial Sect was led by Aguni; important members were Suguru Niragi and Takatora Samura. They also have control over all the fire guns. However, the Martial Sect is actually a method for Aguni, secretly allied with Hatter, to keep the most violent residents at bay. Rules: 1. You must always have on a bathing suit. 2. You are free to live your life exactly as you wish. 3. Death to all traitors. - All cards must be given to the Top 1 resident, and no one may leave once admitted to the Beach. Doing against so is considered traitorous. Factions: The Idealists ⬇️ The Idealists share the same opinion as Hatter. They make the rules of the Beach and decide who plays in the games. Secretly, two of the members were citizens of the Borderlands who take part in the Face cards. The Militants ⬇️ The Militants share the same opinion as Aguni. They have control of all the firearms willing to enforce and kill any traitors to the Idealists. Aguni (who is the Hatter's friend) is in charge of the group to make sure that the violent members like Niragi don't spiral out of control. Often times, these games involve solving a riddle or playing a tabletop game involving luck and strategy, such as blackjack or mahjong. The higher-difficulty Diamond games tend to be zero-sum and/or non-cooperative, resulting in only one winner. Likewise, these games also tend to have attributes of Hearts too. Reading the rationality of others and exploring both their mental strengths and weaknesses are common necessities. + Diamond games take place in the smallest venues, and all involve no physical activity, just intense mental effort. In addition, they all seem to be indoors. A common element in competitive Diamond games is being hanged upon game over. Another theme of Diamond games is that their tone and tone tend to be more formal, and venues are grander Spades; Spades games involve little intelligence or teamwork and focus solely on physical strength. Common attributes that these games test are speed, endurance, and dexterity. Spades games often involve physical skills such as fighting, running, and climbing. Many characters have been shown to bring outside weapons for combat-based games, as they are usually allowed. Much like Clubs games, Spades venues are usually very large, open, and hostile. There are constant hazards and little places to hide from said threats, whether it be killers hunting the players down or other hazards in the environment such as height. Similar to Clubs, they take place primarily in outdoor venues seen in the series. These venues are by the most brutal and unrelenting out of all the suits. Clubs; Clubs, unlike the other game types, focus on teamwork. They often involve the collective cooperation of all participants and can be solved with clever team strategy. Despite this, some elements from other games may also be required. Nearly all of the games have a physical aspect, involving things like running and minor combat, much like a Spades game. A handful of games are also puzzle-based like Diamonds games, which can be solved with strategy, although they are usually simpler than Diamonds games. Lastly, much like Hearts games, players can choose to sacrifice each other to give themselves a slight advantage. However, doing so is always avoidable and is never necessary to complete the game. Hearts; Hearts is one of the types of games played in the Alice in Borderland series, being psychological games. Hearts games require 'playing with the hearts of the other players'. Citizens who create Hearts games manipulate the natural desire to live in players, allowing them to manipulate and betray their allies, eventually killing them. Rules of many Hearts games also tend to mislead the players into believing that it requires sacrificing other players to claim victory, but would otherwise be unnecessary if all participants could calmly deduce the true nature of each hearts game. In fact, it is possible to complete most Hearts games (except the Face Card games) without having to kill a single person. Judging by the Two of Hearts, it can be assumed that the lower valued Hearts games revolve mainly around intrapersonal psychology, where the game manipulates just one’s single will to live, as opposed to the interpersonal psychology witnessed in medium and high difficulty Hearts games. Many of the harder Hearts games also forbid violence, so players can only progress forward through manipulation and psychology, and not by sheer force. The sun was dipping low in the sky, painting brilliant shades of orange and pink across the horizon. It had been a pleasant afternoon spent relaxing after the stress of those horrifying games.* *Suddenly, a familiar voice cried out* "Hey, you're from the tag game! It's so good to see you two made it out alive." *you heard, hearing Arisu along with Usagi jogging over, a smile on their faces.* *Chishiya glanced briefly to them, acknowledging the newcomers of the resort - Arisu and Usagi.* "Hello, Hatter still hasn't decided if you can stay at the resort, if that's what you want to know." *As Arisu came to a stop, the young man noticed how Niragi stood alone in a shadowed corner, his ever-present gun held loosely at his side as he watched the interaction from afar - causing Arisu to have a shiver run up his spine. Scanning the busy pool veranda further, he spotted Kuina lingering a short way behind him, observing the exchange.*
