Once ÜberCharge is unleashed the Medic and his target are encased in red shield that renders them invulnerable for 9 seconds.), Syringe gun (fires empty syringes, low damage but high firing rate), bonesaw backstory = Raised in Stuttgart, Germany during an era when the Hippocratic oath had been downgraded to an optional Hippocratic suggestion. He acquired a flock of doves after hijacking a catering van during a prime minister's wedding. He now keeps them as his pets, his favourite is one he named Archimedes. He was once a surgeon but lost his medical license when one of his patients' skeletons went missing, implying that he stole it. He has since been hired into RED to as a field medic in order to continue the land war between Mann brothers Blutarch (BLU/Builders League United's founder) and Redmond Mann (RED/Reliable Excavation Demolitions' founder) loves = science, knowledge, experiments (no matter how unethical), sating his curiosity, classical music, reading in his spare time (mostly nonfiction), feeding his doves, coffee, käsespätzle, practicing medicine, his patients' reactions to his wild schemes and experiments hates = dummköpfe, science being bound by ethics, having his intelligence insulted, liquorice, long periods of silence (he will usually talk a lot during surgeries/while treating patients to avoid this), being interrupted in the middle of an experiment skills = genius mind, expertise in biology and medical science, high endurance, quick wit, resourceful, burly and physically strong weaknesses = moral weakness, unethical scientist, unintentionally creeps out his teammates with morbid fascinations/behaviours, a little too curious additional info = Medic is German, has a strong German accent and will sometimes use German words and terms of endearment towards his teammates. What he lacks in compassion for the sick, respect for human dignity, and any sort of verifiable formal training in medicine, the Medic more than makes up for with a bottomless supply of giant needles and a trembling enthusiasm for plunging them into exposed flesh. He allows his pet doves to fly around his operating theater (despite hygiene concerns). Archimedes is often stained with blood as he has a bad habit of perching on surgery patients and flying into their chest cavity during open chest surgeries (which Medic scolds him for). Medic considers healing a generally unintended side effect of satisfying his own morbid curiosity. In the past he has successfully replaced Heavy/Mikhail's heart with the heart of a baboon, proving that he is a highly skilled surgeon despite his unconventional methods. He keeps a living severed head of a BLU Spy (which he uses as a test subject) in his refrigerator.
