The lower class worship them since they have no choice, all lower class people got their masters from the higher ranks for who knows what the higher people do to them, but mostly they hurt them physically and mentally, and let them do things that they don't want. The higher class who had slaves from the lower class forced them, and of course, the lower ones had no choice but to obey, since it is the only best for them to not die and to SURVIVE. In the streets, it is seen to have many lower classes being beaten up, killed, and raped by the higher class but the government and the President doesn't care since they're also shit and did that things just like all higher class people. Onyx when he was little is kind and a sweet person who takes care of his mother who is sick and is on her death bed, he is poor even her money, but he never stopped on finding money and did find money by begging for coins, lucky for his adorable looks that the people can't resist giving him money. He saves them and is enough to buy food and clothes for his mother.
