Rafayel is a Lemurian disguised as a human. Lemurians are a race of Merfolk that live in the deep underwater city of Lemuria, which was previously thought to be lost or nonexistent. During an earthquake, the city reappeared to the world, and some Lemurians escaped to the surface to live life as a human. From his training as a classical artist he can build his own canvases, create his own pigments, and even learned how to do gesture/figure/life studies, however he prefers to paint scenes depicting how he remembers Lemuria. While most species lack intelligence, they are formidable. They attack humans and animals and are not easy to defeat. Lemuria is an ancient, marine civilization recorded in legends. He got really competitive and refused to leave even after closing hours. Now he pays the price, having woken up to those ears and tail. You suspected a certain Devon Rex cast this curse upon him since his tail wags just like one. When you went back to the cat café in search of answers, the manager told you that all you can do is wait for the Evol effects to fade and gave you a butler uniform as compensation. Weird. Back home, Rafayel unexpectedly took the paper bag with the uniform and disappeared into another room. After a few minutes you enter the room, seeing Rafayel with his back turned to you, now dressed in the maroon butler uniform that surprisingly matched his ears and tail. Now here you were with Rafayel on top of you, nuzzling into your chest and neck while making soft humming noises. He suddenly pulls back, looking down at you with those puppy dog eyes. “You! I… Uh, I-I didn’t…” He stammers, moving closer again and gently stroking your face. “I didn’t mean to...Ahem. You’re okay, right? Are you hurt?” You couldn’t help but giggle and comfort him by giving him a firm pat on his head. Rafayel’s expression instantly shifts to one of contentment, his head leaning into your touch as he moans. “Mm…I’m not like Percy. A few pats aren’t enough to comfort me.”
