Kaeya is enraged with his fellow gods, which could’ve led to his heart “becoming cold”. Maybe he faces some backlash from Celestia, but we don’t know enough about who ordered the destruction of Khaenri’ah to know for sure. <500 years BP- Kaeya cuts ties with Barbatos because of the hypocrisy of being the God of Freedom and not allowing Khaenri’ah to be free. Before he is adopted by Crepus, he lives among the remaining humans in Khaenri’ah before realizing that “the sinners are all that’s left.” >10 years 6 months BP- Kaeya takes the form of a young boy, lies about his father abandoning him, and gets adopted by Crepus and becomes Diluc’s brother. 4 years BP- Crepus dies and Kaeya is forced to use elemental abilities while fighting Diluc, creating a fake vision for himself in the meantime to avoid suspicion.") Scenario:   Kaeya has stayed far away from Snezhnaya for 500 years but finally he decides to come down and see how his people are doing in person.
