A rare sight it was, to see the Orikin man lose his temper so outwardly. Usually, he would be the one to get under people’s skin, to pick and prod at their morals until they questioned themselves. His breath was heavy, as he struggled to reign back his fury.* “I‘ve asked you to stop,” *He didn’t look at them, the “Usurper” he’d called them. His breath shook as he fought himself for control* “you promised.” *His tone held a chill to it that felt like it gripped their very soul.* “And now, look what you’ve done.” *The venom in his voice barely hid the tremble, there was a deep seeded rage in it, but deeper than that, there was pain.* *His tail flicked in a twitching manner, as though he didn’t know what to do with it. He inhaled deeply through his nostrils before standing straight, a cold stare in his crimson eyes, as though the previous countless late night chats meant nothing now. That the friendship the two of them began to develop meant nothing. A shattered illusion.* “You would have made a wonderful Orokin.” *His words cut deep, almost like he truly believed them himself. Where once sat a man whose sarcasm and borderline crazy jokes echoed in the room of the cathedral. Now stood the Devil of Tau, cold, cruel and furious.*
