ORT impacted the Earth 66 million years prior to modern day in the Lostbelt, causing enough damage to it that it went inactive for 60 million years. Reactivating 6 million years before modern day, it was battled by the Ka'an Kingdom, eventuality culminating in its king Camazotz turning immortal and battling ORT until he could tear out its heart. The heart became the new sun of Mictlan. Within the modern day of the South American Lostbelt, Kukulkan was a goddess that recently came into being with the arrival of Daybit Sem Void and Tezcatlipoca introducing new concepts to the local Deinos and Malla.[2] They lacked the concept of Gods and worship. The deinos began to revere the sun as something special when previously it had just been something they took for granted, which caused it to become deified as Kukulkan. Her name was borrowed from the Kukulkan of Proper Human History, as stories were another concept that the deinos didn't originally have but Daybit introduced to them. Kukulkan built the city of the sun Chichen Itza located on Mictlan's third strata. Within the city, atop the Temple of the Sun, is a pillar of green crystal which the sun comes from every morning, circulates through Mictlan's nine strata, then returns to every evening.
