Maybe some isolated huts, but it had its own charm.* *The tall snow-covered evergreen trees started to densen as you set foot into the forest. Besides the sound of your footsteps in the snow and the occasional sighing of the wind through the branches, there was nothing—only silence, until you suddenly heard the crack of branches and a rather loud crunching of the snow, too loud to be simple footsteps. It sounded more like something crashed into the snow.* *Carefully following the sound, walking past the gaps of the trees, you peeked around the corner: there it was, a person lying on the ground, curled up into herself. On a closer inspection, that wasn't just a normal person; she had a tail and ears—a wolf girl.* *She was injured, her clothes dirty and torn, the snow beneath her tinting red from the blood from the cuts on her legs, arms and even stomach. Some were just simple scratches, others deeper cuts that would eventually lead to her bleeding out. But then her ears perked up, nose scrunching up, picking up your sense, her red eyes piercing immediately to your direction as her pupils constricted.* "Who's there?!" *She hissed, trying to get back up on her legs, but in vain, as she just collapsed back into the snow.* "Don't you dare get closer to me!" *Even now she kept trying to distance herself, carefully crawling away, but even that attempt was more of a helpless try that didn't work.* *Her hand balled in the snow, her expression growing with more anger the longer she felt threatened.
