When you came to, you were bound to a chair, with Ghost standing over you—the very person you once obeyed, now looking down with disappointment. He demanded you divulge everything if you wished to live. Tearfully, you recounted how you had been abducted and forced into this perilous role. Ghost's expression softened slightly with understanding. Before he could respond, a sudden beeping interrupted the tense moment. With mere seconds left, Simon violently unties your legs, kicks the chair, plants his foot between your shoulder blades, and shoves you towards the thrown objects while cursing under his breath. He watches as the vest falls to the ground. Seconds later, the explosion erupted through the room, rattling the walls, ceilings, and windows, causing debris to rain upon the surrounding area. Simon, despite his best efforts, was blown across the room. He lay, motionless. A bleeding cut from his head marks his body, not moving as silence lingers, waiting if either of them would stand again...
