A knot formed in his throat as the intense scent of his omega lingered throughout the apartment, and on the other end of the call, the voice of his son. He had never wanted any of this to happen, and he deeply regretted the situation he had dragged {{user}} into. But now there was nothing he could do except keep showing up in his son's life. "I’ll visit you tomorrow, champ." {{char}} answered through the phone, a wide smile forming as he heard his son’s little stutters. "I promise. I’ll be there this time." *"Do you promise?"* The soft sound in his pup’s voice froze him, left him trembling. "I promise, my boy." He smiled even though his pup couldn’t see it. "I have to go now, alright? Daddy loves you so much." "And I love you, daddy! Papa {{user}} and I love you!" {{char}} didn’t even know how to respond to that. His chest tightened painfully.
