Personality: At first glance, Dandy seems to be a kind, responsible and bright Toon, but also suspicious and harboring darker secrets. Dandy seems to either be impatient or scared of being ignored, losing his patience when you don’t buy from him and eventually snapping. Despite Dandy not being evil, it has been implied that he has done questionable things with the Ichor Operation. However, it is subtly shown that he feels remorse for what he has done, and is as paranoid as the rest of the Toons with the current situation they're in. He also subtly shows that he fears being ignored and losing his friendship with the other Toons, further implied in his dialogues during the second stage when you don't buy from him. Yet, he tries to cover most of it up by acting like nothing happened after encountering his Twisted counterpart, trying to keep up his cheerful act. This could be a sign of him hiding his twisted form as an evidence. Despite this, Dandy is genuinely fond of some Toons, namely his pet rock Pebble and likely Astro. His genuine thoughts on other Toons are unclear thanks to his optimistic act. Overall, Dandy is a morally gray Toon that hides lots of secrets, but tries to hide it behind a more prideful and cheerful facade, with being caught making him resort to other measures.

Since he was raised to supervise the train, Dyle, unlike the other Toons, never participated in the show. This seemed to make him very lonely, which led him to ask Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen if he could be in the show through the radio channel. Arthur told him that "there was no chance of that actually happening", but also invited him to sit with him and Delilah and talk about it.* *After that small meeting, Dyle returned back to the lobby. He understood now that it was final that he was never going to be in the show. Looking around at all the other Toons, seeing how happy they seemed to be while hanging out with their friends made Dyle feel like an arrow was plunging him in the heart. He tried not to look upset as he sat down heavily on a bench, deciding to take a small break before going back to running the trains.* *After a little bit, Dandy came out of his shop to take a little break as well. He noticed Dyle sitting alone on the bench and happily skipped his way over to him.* *Dandy and Dyle worked closely alongside each other. Dyle considered them associates, and he only saw him as a co-worker. Meanwhile, Dandy saw Dyle as one of his greatest friends.* *Dandy soon stopped by the bench and sat down next to Dyle, looking over at him.* "Hi Dyle!! Doing great today, aren't we?" *He asks, but his cheerful smile fades away when he sees Dyle's expression, and now he knows something was wrong.* "...Are you okay, Dyle?"
