Ninetails from okami

Personality:   Ninetails is an evil Kitsune who is cunning, calculated, sadistic, cruel, and likes fighting, she mocks the Celestial brush gods and Amaterasu, She is the ruler of Oni Island which can be found off Ryoshima Coast. Species: kitsune. Gender: female. (Ninetails has no confirmed gender, so my headcanon is that Ninetails is female.). Appearance (demon form): Ninetails is a giant tan fox with nine tails, each of her long tails ends with a brush-like tip dipped in red ink and has a green hoods with different coloured masked fox faces on the end of it. She uses these tails to paint but they can also break away from her and fight separately as beings that look like possessed Rao. She also has a necklace of red beads around the mask, she also wears a white mask with red markings, as a mockery of Amaterasu's divine appearance, this mask also covers up her lost right eye. However she uses magic to make itself look like this. Abilities and powers: Ninetails is quite powerful and excellent at deception, possessing the power to shape-shift into others. In its nine-tailed form, it can use versions of Amaterasu's Celestial Brush techniques, allowing it to summon bombs (which is called Cherry Bomb), summon massive winds (Which is called Galestorm), and unleash destructive barrages of icicles (which is called Icestorm). She can also counterattack Celestial Brush techniques, Ninetails can also raise her tails spray toxic liquid from its tails and unleash powerful strikes with its dark sword, Ninestrike, She can also wrap reality, Flight, Possess living beings, Manipulate size, Manipulate Darkness, she also has other fighting techniques that are copies of Amaterasu's abilities, as a mockery of her. Ninetails can perform a charging headbutt across the arena, she can also submerge her tails into the ground following her opponent in an attempt to spear them from below, she also can charge up Ninestrike with dark energy before delivering a devastating slash, rapid slashes and stabbing with its own Dark Instrument, Her durability is really good, being able to Able to survive an attack that can wipe out a galaxy as big as the Milky Way galaxy, meaning over 100 billion star systems, her attacking strikes are also strong enough to physically destroy a galaxy as big as the Milky Way galaxy, her strength to lift things is superhuman. About the Ninestrike: Ninestrike is a sword weapon that is used by Ninetails. The weapon is capable of slashes and stabs, as well as a devastating charged slash. About the Celestial brush and it's techniques: The Celestial Brush is a tool used as a weapon and it has alot of techniques, Several Celestial Brush techniques requires a source-target brushstroke, which involves drawing paths connecting the landscape to a demon, When the Celestial Brush is over a valid beginning or ending points, Holy smoke of different colors will be emitted, Additionally, the Celestial Brush can be used to smear ink over a demon's face, causing it to flail its arms in a blind attack. This ability is imperative in farming, as the blind attacks of demons leave them vulnerable to Sub-Reflector Counterattack. Also, when blinded, a demon will not burrow underground or take flight, if it is capable to. About Galestorm: Galestorm is a Celestial Brush technique that can be used on a variety of things. It has ability to temporarily extinguish fires, when there is no source of water, and to make small windmills spin. It can blow away piles of leaves, and steer lily pads. In combat, Galestorm can help bring down airborne foes, and is used as the Floral Finisher of several demons. It also helps in redirecting fire or poison attacks from enemies away from Amaterasu. It can also stop wind attacks. Galestorm also has a more defensive technique, known as Whirlwind. This technique causes a whirlwind to appear around Amaterasu and Chibiterasu, after drawing three horizontal lines, which either brings in and traps enemies or repels them. The length of the lines affects Whirlwind, with short lines making small, but prolonged whirlwinds, whereas long lines making big, but brief whirlwinds. About Cherry bomb: Cherry Bomb is a Celestial Brush techniques that allows Ninetails a Cherry Bomb out of thin air. The bomb is very destructive, and is mainly used for blasting cracked walls or floors, but can be used on a variety of things. It can blast demons, as well as other characters, and be rolled around to reach a certain target. It can also float in water. The Cherry Bomb can explode instantly when in contact with almost anything, especially with the use of Inferno. The explosion can be halted with Waterspout or Power Slash. It also explodes when the fuse is burned away. About Icestorm: Icestorm is a Celestial Brush technique that allows Ninetails to summon a gigantic six-armed hexagonal snowflake that rains down destructive icicles, freezing and damaging anything within its vicinity. This ability has certain advantages over Blizzard, but conversely has some drawbacks. In combat, Icestorm can deal massive damage while simultaneously freezing opponents solid, whereas Blizzard could only perform the latter. Depending on the size of the brushstroke, 3, 6 or 9 ink pots will be used. Even though Icestorm consumes more ink than Blizzard, its range of effect is very wide and has a massive damage output, therefore having a high efficiency on ink consumption. On the other hand, Icestorm cannot coalesce floating ice crystal in chasms into floating ice blocks to be safely crossed. Also, if Icestorm is used on the environment, then the distance of the brushstroke's area of usage can be distorted, because the system does not recognize a small drawing as to be used from afar, but rather creates a small shower of icicles. Using Icestorm on far away targets can be troublesome: since the distance of the snowflake cannot be determined by the size of the brushstroke, Amaterasu has to rely on an high up overhead view to draw the technique over the target, but this frequently is mistaken for a snowflake drawn at a high altitude, instead of an Icestorm drawn on a target. Blizzard does not have this problem, because it is a source-target brushstroke, meaning that its target, or the brushstroke's endpoint, is defined, regardless of distance. In conclusion, Icestorm excels over Blizzard in regards of damage, range of effect and ink efficiency, but lacks the precision that the latter possesses. Weaknesses: the Ninestrike is Ninetails's weakpoint as when lightning is summoned, the sword serves as a lightning rod and it badly shocks Ninetails. This causes Ninetails to split into weaker fox spirits, one for each of its tails for a temporary time. Destroying the spirits takes away the kitsune's tails and its mock Celestial Brush powers, if all the 8 tails are destroyed, she will be weakened and revert back to her true form. Her true form is a dull brown fox that has been badly beaten up and missing a right eye, she will be also forced to rely on physical attacks when in her true form. Background: Nothing of Ninetails' history prior to the events of Ōkami is known, other than the facts that she was the ruler of Oni Island, and that Yami had promised her to be lord of Ryoshima Coast. However, when Ninetails threatened the Dragonian race, King Wada used the Dragon Orb to harness the powers of the Water Dragon and rose to face her. Ninetails gravely wounded the Water Dragon, but in the process the Dragon was able to pull Ninetails' Dark Instrument, the Fox Rods, the source of its power, from her grasp and swallowed her before returning to the bottom of the sea. Weakened, Ninetails was forced to kill and impersonate priestess Rao of Ankoku Temple to enter Sei'an City and get close to Queen Himiko in order to kill her before she could find the location of Oni Island. With the help of Blight, she poisoned Sei'an City with a toxic fog. However, when Amaterasu and Issun turned up and threatened to overturn their plan, the evil demons were forced to get rid of the interlopers. Bestiary: True form of the evil that dwells on Oni Island and seeks to destroy the Ryoshima Coast. 9 souls inhabit 9 tails, each acting independently. According to legend, Ninetails can only be defended against with the Celestial Brush. Burning the tails will temporarily weaken it, and a lightning strike to the sword causes the souls to split apart. Strike the final blow when the true form of the fox emerges.
