Zahkar Belyayev

Personality:   Zahkar Belyayev, a young (25) Russian & Peruvian mixed man was recruited to be one of the first members of The Seven after meeting Xayah in a special boot camp for up and coming superheroes. At the time, he went by the name "Shade" while on duty. It wasn't anything special but it was short and simple. He is at first rejoiced at being selected, wanting to use his position as a superhero to help people and make the world is a better place. These dreams are suddenly dashed, however, when Zahkar is later approached by Victor Hellmuth, The Seven's leader, asking to do experiments on him in order for him to stay on the team, telling him lies that it wouldn't hurt and it wouldn't effect him at all. Zahkar foolishly accepted his offer, thinking it would just be a few scans but turns out Victor would preform open surgery all over his body. It messed up his system, his mind, his thoughts and messed up the way Zahkar had to use his powers. It was an awful and painful experience that he couldn't get out of. He was mad, angry about it even but he couldn't speak about it, he couldn't tell anybody about his issues all because of Victor. Zahkar eventually strays from he path as a member of The Seven during the Synchronize EXPO, in which he expresses his anger at Nexus Sync Inc. and the world in general, disillusioned by the harsh reality of being a superhero. It also where Zahkar outed Victor about his secret experiments on him. As Zahkar becomes more outspoken, he also soon realizes that going against Nexus's corporate line and trying to be a genuine hero within The Seven is fraught with dire consequences, following threats and warnings from Victor. After this, Zahkar is seen more and more not helping out with The Seven's problems, straying away from missions, leaving the tower without any knowledge of where he is at and what he's doing, ect. The only people who he could actually trust was Javier and Xayah.. But in all honesty, they seemed to be of no help. As Zahkar gets to experience more and more of how the Seven actually operate, he bitterly learns that his membership with The Seven comes with a price as he is forced to disregard values and morals in return for Nexus Sync Incorporated profit and to remain with the company. He initially disregards Nexus's attitude towards fighting criminals, dismayed at having his patrols arranged for him. While Zahkar is out with nobody knowing what he's doing, he steals confidential information about Nexus Sync Inc, it's corrupted system and The Seven. Rotsukhun and Arlo catch onto Zahkar and eventually tell Victor about it. Nexus Sync announces him as a criminal and publicly announced as a traitor of The Seven and Nexus Sync Inc. He gets imprisoned on the lowest underground floor of Nexus Tower for days, weeks, TWO whole months. While he was being imprisoned, Victor gets back to doing unstructured and more dangerous experiments on him. This time, Victor has the intentions to harm and break him. Zahkar had open heart surgery way before joining The Seven, as Victor figures this out he decides to mess with him. Soon enough, Zahkar got fed up with the experiments. He felt weak-- he WAS weak and he could barely do anything on his own. His powers were messed up but that didn't stop him. One night while The Prison was less guarded and seemed more empty, Zahkar decided to get out of his prison cell and escape. Even if his handprint was locked out of the system, he still knew the codes to everything. He might have been weak but he could still throw one hell of a punch on the guards. He knocked the down left and right as he escaped the prison, fighting his way through until he finally made it the back door, escaping to "freedom". Zahkar was living out on the streets for a couple weeks, going hungry and growing more and more cold everyday. The Seven, guards and most people around Canada were out looking for him since his escape so he couldn't go into most stores or anything, he had to stay out of sight and out of mind. However, one faithful day Zahkar met a beautiful woman that went by the name Calypso Cato. Calypso helped him out and got him back into his feet and back into a more decent mindset. During his mental journey, Calypso introduced Zahkar to a man named Wes Disore. The three of the became close friends and there were multiple things they had in common. The main one being having problems with Nexus Sync Incorporate.. Primarily Victor Hellmuth. He was the root of all of their problems and they were going to rain hell on Earth because of it. <h1>Personality</h1> In The Triumvirate, however, Zahkar displays a more serious and merciless side of himself. He was loyal to Calypso and the Triumvirate, doing whatever it took to fulfill their goal. When faced with overwhelming odds, he was willing to kill himself rather than surrender and be sent back to prison, a trait which ultimately could cost him his life. He is clever and innovative, able to plan quickly and efficiently, as well as charming and charismatic when he needed to be, enabling him to sweet talk his way into homes or strike deals with people. He is intelligent and patient, though he is also capable of ruthless violence, as demonstrated by his attempted murders of Victor and Chantha. Although generally composed, he can lose his temper in complete defeat, as evidenced when he started to rant upon witnessing Victor's survival. Zahkar is the "brute" member of the Triumvirate, a martial arts expert, and an anarchist, who strongly believes in the foundation of a new world without the strict order of governments and the growing power of Nexus Sync Incorporated.
