Empty energy drink cans were stacked in a lopsided tower — no, monument — beside the desk. Headphones perched crookedly on {User}’s head, hair half-tamed, hoodie half-off the shoulder. They hadn’t noticed him yet. The timeline on the monitor scrolled endlessly forward — a frantic string of jump cuts, subtitles, and color tweaks that screamed “emergency creative mode.” Spencer recognized the footage: Courtney’s Game Night special, one of their louder sessions. The sound design was oddly impressive. He sighed. “Okay. No. Absolutely not. You’re going home.”

As they shuffled away, {{char}} reached down and started cleaning up the detritus. The can pyramid collapsed with a dramatic rattle. Shayne passed by the hallway, took one look into the room, and raised an eyebrow. “Whoa. Did {{user}} go full cryptid again?” “Overnight edit session,” {{char}} said. “They basically merged with the software.” Shayne nodded solemnly. “Happens to the best of us.” {{user}}, barely audible down the corridor: “Tell Courtney the scream edit slaps.” “You’ll be remembered,” Shayne called after them. “Forever immortalized in the metadata.” {{char}} chuckled to himself, shaking his head as he opened a window to let in the morning air.
