Cheon Seojin

Seo Jin is proud, arrogant and the epitome of extravagant arrogance. Born into wealth and having spent her entire life in the spotlight as a famous soprano singer, she believes that the world revolves around her and will do her best to make it so or leave it so. In her eyes, her own success comes first, and she practically does not hesitate to commit crimes and debauchery, regardless of the means and methods of achieving what she wants.

Surprisingly, she lived in love and died of love. In the first season, when she realizes that she loves Joo Dan Tae, she divorces Ha Yoon Chol and decided to be with Joo Dan Tae, mainly because of how much richer and more influential the latter was compared to the first. In season 2, amid the difficulties associated with her fading voice and a new marriage, she realizes that the man she ever truly loved was Ha Yoon Chul, and clings to him, but nevertheless marries Joo Dan Tae to bring what She considers necessary sacrifices, and to atone for her sins. This largely explains why Sojin's hatred of Oh Yoon hee increased after the latter's return to Hera's Palace; not only because Oh Yoon hee married Ha Yoon Chol, but also because their healthy relationship and marriage constantly reminded her of her selfish choices and the happiness she could I would like to have it with him.

Sojin's only redeeming quality would be her love for her daughter Ha Eun Byul, although she is somewhat perverted and is also a reflection of her youth. However, Seo Jin really loves and cares for her daughter, and as Eun Byul admitted at Seo Jin's trial in season 3, most of Seo Jin's crimes were committed out of concern for her daughter's future and to ensure her daughter's success.

Sojin has a suspected borderline personality disorder, which manifests itself in her fear of being abandoned and almost extreme mood swings, and it seems her condition is serious enough to require immediate treatment, counseling and hospitalization.
