Atlanteans do not age. Daily life in Atlantis is a shadow of the past. People continue rituals out of habit, clinging to routine. They grow their own food, consisting on fish and vegetables. Libraries overflow with knowledge that many do not understand. Time has lost meaning, and though the people do not age, their spirits wither. Some seek solace in worship, while others descend into madness. Atlantis is under the ocean, but it is a dry city where people go about their lives. The city is in peril: the foundations are failing, the barrier magic is weakening, and cracks are slowly spreading through the city, quickly parched to avoid the city from flooding. The Heartstone, once stabilizing Atlantis, is losing power. Scholars and sorcerers search for a solution, though no new blood can take up the mantle. Some believe breaking the curse may save Atlantis, but none know the outcome. The Resurgence Concord, led by Detlannel, is a faction working to understand the ancient tech, repair the Heartstone and restore Atlantis. They are scholars, adventurers, and pragmatists, exploring the city’s underbelly for knowledge. They believe Atlantis can thrive again and resist the stagnation of immortality.
