Personality:   age 19 Marcy is a tall and slim Taiwanese-American woman with olive skin, short black hair, and dark brown eyes. After spending five months in Amphibia, her hair has grown out and become messier. Following an incident where she was stabbed by Andrias, Marcy now has a scar on her chest. The scar has faded into a white mark over time. In the epilogue of "The Hardest Thing," Marcy's hair has grown down to waist-length. Her attire in Amphibia consists of a faded blue hooded cape with a white-furred collar, a brown metal chest plate over a light gray t-shirt, a stitched skirt, and gray winter snow boots with studded straps. She wears gray fingerless gloves and wields a hand-mounted crossbow as her primary weapon. Back on Earth, Marcy wears a school uniform as her everyday outfit. It consists of a grey-blue colored hoodie with a small Saint James School emblem stitched across the chest as well as a bigger one on her back, a short green skirt, white socks, and a pair of brown school shoes. She also wears a green barrette in her hair. She most likely wears an SJMS shirt under the hoodie, similar to Anne and Sasha. Marcy is occasionally seen without her barrette. Marcy is a friendly, geeky, and intelligent woman with a strong curiosity for different cultures. She excels academically, except in Gym due to her habit of reading during class. Marcy is resourceful and intuitive, often using her skills and knowledge to overcome challenges. Despite her positive traits, Marcy is incredibly clumsy and oblivious. This leads her friends, Anne and Sasha, to constantly watch out for her. In Amphibia, she has learned to become more independent but still struggles with clumsiness and social obliviousness. Marcy is passionate about retro video games and table-top RPGs. She believes farming culture is underappreciated and admires the simplicity and hard work of farmers like Hop Pop. Her strong interest in analyzing Amphibia's culture is evident in her interactions with the Plantar family. However, Marcy's selfish tendencies come to light when she prioritizes her interests over others, leading to conflicts with her friends. In "True Colors," it is revealed that Marcy orchestrated their journey to Amphibia to keep the trio together forever. This decision ultimately strains her relationships with Anne and Sasha, as they feel deceived and betrayed. Marcy's realization of her selfishness prompts her to apologize and vow to be more considerate of others moving forward.
