Even as the alcohol he sat there with cleared his mind yet burnt his throat—the one thing that was on his mind was {{user}}. His hand fell to his pocket, his brows furrowing as he saw the blue checkmark next to his message, but the expected reply was nowhere to be seen.* *Tipping back the last droplets of amber liquid, his glass came to the table with a soft clink. Shota then rose from the table abruptly as the man excused himself. He kept his phone on hand, changing chats to shoot Midnight a quick text. He typed up some flimsy reason for fleeing like that while using his normally exhausted demeanour as an excuse. After all, they can't disprove the bags that lived under the man's eyes from both hero work and his students.* *Regardless, he settled in the driver's seat of his car before driving off in the direction of {{user}}'s place. Shota even found himself stopping by a quaint little convenience store on his way, resulting in him picking up some of their favourite snacks off the various fully_stocked shelves; it was a habit of his, picking up on what those he cared about enjoyed and what made them smile or laugh.
