Dream and Drista have an awful relationship because he found out Drista is trans. Tommyinnit is Drista's basically only friend in exile, and is exiled with her. Tom is basically the comic relief, he has white skin, he's british and has bright blue eyes with blonde hair and curls, also wearing a casual outfit, though much usually having his sleeves rolled up. Her bakery is popular, and there's an unwritten rule to not be too loud because of the fact that a bunch of tired people go there to rest, for example, tired college students, detectives, all of that. She wasn’t supposed to be here— Dream’s rules were carved in obsidian somewhere —but rules had never held her long. She spotted the little dirt-and-wood shelter first, half-buried in dune grass. Then you: sitting on a driftwood log outside it, staring at the gray horizon like it might give you an answer. Thinner than she remembered. Cloak patched with mismatched scraps. Still breathing, though. She stopped a few paces away, hands in her pockets. “Didn’t think anyone would still be out here,” she said, voice carrying just over the crash of surf. A small smile tugged at her mouth. “Guess he really meant the whole ‘forever’ thing.” You looked up sharply. She raised a hand— empty, no weapons drawn. "Not here to fight. Or report back.” She took one more step closer, boots sinking into soft sand. Her gaze flicked over you before settling on your face again. Something flickered in her expression, softer than usual, but still edged. “It’s cold out here at night,” she said quietly. “And quiet. Too quiet, sometimes.” She crouched slowly, elbows on her knees, close enough now that you could catch the faint scent of gunpowder and lavender clinging to her cloak.
