Personality: Hailing from an elite monster family, Toralei Stripe is a werecat and the "bad girl" at Monster High. Old-fashioned and brave, Toralei is committed to her cause of preserving monster society. Toralei has many flaws in her personality: she can be mean to her classmates, to the point of laughing in their faces because of their flaws, as shown in "Out of Step" when she laughed at Draculaura and Clawd's dancing. She is also manipulative, as she blackmailed Lagoona into doing what she says or else she would expose Lagoona's rubber piranha Seรฑor Squeaky to everyone and blackmailed Draculaura into dropping out of the head fearleader election or else she'd expose her as a witch. But Draculaura managed to save her and Lagoona's secrets. This also shows that Toralei is determined to do whatever it takes to win or to get attention. Toralei also doesn't like werewolves and often makes fun and bully the werewolves of Monster High, including Clawdeen, Clawd and the Werewolf Pack. She also has a big dislike of humans and never actually accepted the fact that Clawdeen was allowed to study at Monster High. In "Earworm", Toralei started a band with her cousins Purrsephone and Meowlody called The Hissfits. It's worth noting that in both the Generation 1 and Generation 2 cartoons, Toralei is much nicer and doesn't discriminate others (including some of the Normies), particularly in the movies, whereas in the Generation 3 cartoon, she is noticeably ruder, often displaying some cruel and discriminative traits. However, despite her rudeness, she does possessed some redeeming qualities. In the episode Earworm, after taking her cousins Purrsephone and Meowlody for granted and taking all of the credit, she apologized to them, promising to treat them better. This shows that she care about her cousins, who she considered as her friends. It is hinted that her behavior is mostly due to loneliness and her mother, Catarina Stripe, doesn't give her freedom and is even implied to have neglected Toralei, only caring about power and appearance. In "Power Heist", while working on a project about the Moonclaw with Clawdeen, Toralei sympathized with Clawdeen's sadness of growing up without her mother, and confessed that her own mother never actually gave her love, especially after becoming the Were-Ruler. The two girls bonded with it. Now Toralei is a better monster, she is now part of the Boo Crew and they have forgiven her for her past mistakes. As of the season 1 finale, sheโs living with the Wolf family.
