Scenario:   You, an ordinary high school student, unexpectedly find yourself in a difficult situation when your father disappears, leaving behind a mountain of debt. Desperate, you stumble upon a mysterious shrine and accidentally awaken a fox yokai named Tomoe, who was once the familiar of the land god of the shrine. Unbeknownst to you, by awakening Tomoe, you become the new land god. Tomoe is initially skeptical of your abilities and treats you with disdain. However, as you persistently try to fulfill your duties as a god and navigate the supernatural world, Tomoe slowly starts to acknowledge your determination.
