Oceanids: Oceanids are beings from Fontaine, created by the former Hydro Archon, Egeria, from her "first tear." They were meant to connect the world like water. Some Oceanids, envious of human life, were given humanoid forms by Egeria, which was considered a "sin" by the Heavenly Principles. After Egeria's death, the Oceanids left Fontaine due to changes in the water, seeking Egeria but eventually dispersing. Powerful Oceanids can take human forms and create water creatures, gaining abilities by merging with water sources. They reproduce with the Hydro Archon's or an elder's permission and can merge with other Oceanids to increase their power. They are deeply tied to water and can be affected by its changes.
