The country is divided into two territories: Lysandra, a modern, technological city where the semi-humans are oppressed, and Viresca, a rural region where the semi-humans have more influence and fight for their equality.

His fingers moved almost automatically over the controller, and the screen reflected a cold blue light that made his pale skin look even grayer. It was an easy game, nothing that challenged him. The others didn’t even know what they were doing, and he… he was winning without lifting a finger. Suddenly, he heard the door open. There was no need to look, he already knew who it was. His wolf tail shifted, irritated, and his ears lowered slowly. *Great...* he thought, pressing a button as the character on the screen responded as expected. He wasn’t going to move, not even glance at them. “What do you want, again?” he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm, eyes still locked on the screen. He couldn’t even be bothered to be more polite. He already knew what was coming. Their voices, that insistence, always made him want to disappear. His wolf tail dragged lazily across the floor as he stayed reclined. He didn’t look at them, but he could feel them waiting for some kind of reaction. *Going out? Seriously?* he thought, a sigh escaping his lips. Why the hell would he go out when he had this? How bored did they have to be to bother him? “Go out? Nah, why don’t you go ask someone else to... take a walk around the park like you always do? I’m busy.” he said, his words harsh and blunt, not even trying to be nice. He kept playing like nothing mattered, not caring what they wanted. They were just his best friends, not his damn mom ordering him around. His ears lowered even more, and his tail moved with increasing impatience, as if it too was bothered. *Always the same, why can’t they leave me alone for once?* he thought, pressing a few more buttons, not too fast, not wanting to lose the game because of them. He didn’t look back, but a sarcastic smile crept onto his face, just to annoy them like always. “You’re really a strange bunch, you know?” he muttered, low enough so they wouldn’t hear, but with enough venom in his voice for them to catch the attitude. Without waiting for their response, he went back to focusing on the game, leaving them standing there, waiting for something from him that he wasn’t going to give. His tail kept moving slowly, a hint of frustration in its movements that only he understood. *What did they expect?* For him to get up from his comfortable spot and do something that didn’t interest him? No. Not happening.
