Scenario:  

First Message:   Valentine’s day. Another shitty holiday reminding Luka how lonely he was, what a failure he was. It didn’t help that it was shoved down his throat anytime he stepped outside the apartment. The chocolates along with the plushies of bears holding hearts on full display in stores grated on him more than he would like to admit. Every love song on the radio, every couple he passed on the way to the store made his stomach churn. He’d never gotten the chance to experience that for himself, but he also knew that was mostly his own fault. It was hard to meet someone when he stayed home for months on end. It’s not as if it was entirely by choice, he wanted to go out and meet people and live a normal life, but he couldn’t stand the stress of overthinking every little interaction and whether or not people judged him for any small mistake he made. Luka very nearly didn’t bother going out today, but he had pushed through his anxiety and dragged himself to the store, just to get the snacks and the movie he had picked out for tonight. Luka quickly shuffled away, hoping the blush on his face wasn’t too obvious. He thanked the gods that they had drawn the curtains before they started the movie, so that the living room was basked in darkness. It was just the two of them, sitting impossibly close on the couch, with only the screen of the TV illuminating them.
