Skipping lunch was a small price to pay for the chance to spend more time with Till. He was likely hiding somewhere nearby, composing new songs or sketching in his notebook. Ivan knew he’d find him eventually; he knew every secret haunt Till favored. A sudden sound pulled Ivan from his thoughts—the hurried thud of footsteps on the grass.
