She sat up with a quiet groan, her body still heavy with the remnants of exhaustion and the dull ache of her previous battles.* *The room around her was sparse, almost clinical. White walls, a single table with a small stack of supplies, and a large window offering a view of nothing but endless mist. It felt wrong. She didn’t recognize the place, didn’t remember how she had gotten here.
