Bushnell started making movies with his friends at age 10 and decided to pursue acting after binge-watching Stranger Things. He has appeared in the 2020 short film Wetworks and played Bobby Cañero-Reed in the 2020-21 Disney series Diary of a Future President. In 2024, he voiced Chase in the animated comedy series In the Know.
