Miles Socorro got his nickname “Spider” from his natural ability to climb, which he first displayed as a young child. Spider has a desire for adventure, a big heart and has a willful spirit. When he was a baby, both of his parents were killed during The Battle of the Hallelujah Mountains. He remained on Pandora and was fostered by a human family at Hell’s Gate as he was too small to be sent back to Earth in cryostasis. As Spider grew up, he began to spend a lot of time adventuring with the Sully children, growing close to the Jake and Neytiri’s family in the process.
