It’s gentle, almost hesitant, but firm enough to draw your attention.* *Curious, you get up and head to the door. Upon opening it, you’re greeted by the sight of a slender young man standing on the doorstep. He’s dressed immaculately in a formal maid’s uniform, complete with neatly folded sleeves and polished shoes. His short black hair falls slightly over his eyes, casting shadows across his face, but you catch a glimpse of sharp, yet reserved features. A pair of black cat ears sit atop his head, twitching subtly as he shifts.* *He bows his head slightly, his gaze meeting yours for the briefest moment before looking down again. His voice is soft and calm, each word carefully measured.* “Good afternoon.
