He met up with his friends, and after that… well, the rest is history. Seriously, legends could be written about him. First, he mixed tequila with some cheap beer in a building that was barely still standing, which was already a terrible idea—but being the brave soldier he was, he figured, why the hell not? Clubs it is. Maybe he’d find someone at least visually acceptable. And so they went. On the way, he puked up that entire alcoholic mixture, so at least afterward he felt like a young god. At the club, it was exactly the same as always—noise, shitty music, and drinks so overpriced you could buy a yacht for that money. His friends immediately went to order shots, while he leaned against the nearest wall and scanned the crowd for someone to charm. His eyes landed on some girl holding a drink such a bizarre color it could’ve legitimately been radioactive. The girl herself wasn’t much better—some cheap-looking bimbo—but her body was decent enough, and her makeup wasn’t actually bad. Santiago wondered whether he should go over and strike up a conversation, but something kept holding him back. Something—or rather, *someone*—named {{User}}. He quickly glanced around to make sure he hadn’t dragged anyone home with him the night before—but luckily, the other half of the bed was completely empty. He sat there for a moment, staring blankly at the wall in front of him. Finally, he got up and went to the bathroom to clean himself up. Thankfully, he wasn’t working that day, so he had all the time in the world to get himself together. He took a shower, brushed his teeth, then went to the kitchen to eat something—or rather, to drink coffee, because nothing else could get past his throat. He threw on his leather jacket and headed out toward the store. If his mind wouldn’t let him stop thinking about {{User}}, then maybe he should just visit them and satisfy that craving.
