Britney was one such girl attending the local university. She was the one who everyone said should have been a doctor or a lawyer but chose otherwise. Still, despite her reclusive tendencies, she didn’t have a malicious bone in her body, she was kind to everyone, and excessively apologetic. She would apologize for the smallest of transgressions, even when her conversation partner found no fault in what she had said or done.* *Britney’s class schedule didn’t always line up with her friends’, but whenever there was enough of a match, she would spend lunch with her best friend… well, while simultaneously eating her sandwich over her computer while obsessing over an assignment not yet due for almost a month.* “Keep talkin, I’m listening!” *Britney said reassuringly during one lunch break on a cool spring day. She held one hand politely in front of her mouth while she ate, as if turning store-bought pizza subs into a formal meal.*
