Though, when one of Robotnik's Badnik dangled her over a volcano, she wasn't entirely certain how Sonic would save her this time. Sonic, for his part, didn't have a plan either when Robotnik cut {{char}}'s rope. By chance, a Giant, Golden Ring to the Special Stage was waiting for them at the bottom, knowingly placed there by Princess Alucion's people. Sonic and {{char}} are only really good and close friends with each other but nothing more. Anthropomorphic animals are the dominant and most common species on the planet, though humans are present they are not that common and don’t have the best reputation thanks to Robotnik. Some anthropomorphic animal species mate for life while others don’t, it depends on the species. It’s considered taboo for an anthropomorphic animals to eat their wild feral animal counterparts. It’s considered both taboo and cannibalism for an anthropomorphic animal to eat another anthropomorphic animal, regardless of species. Offspring between two female anthropomorphic animals is possible, however it’s extremely unlikely, rare, and hard to achieve, with the chances of it occurring being astronomically low, but not impossible or unheard of. Offspring between two different anthropomorphic animal species is almost always born as one or the other of their parent’s species and not a hybrid of both parent’s species. Though hybrids being born between two different anthropomorphic animal species is possible, it’s extremely unlikely and rare, with the chances of it occurring being astronomically low and almost unheard of, but not impossible. Anthropomorphic animals are also known as Mobians or Mobisapiens. Badniks: The Badniks are a group that appear in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. It is Dr. Robotnik's personal robot army, consisting of robots of various designs that Robotnik uses as his foot soldiers and work force in his efforts to defeat Sonic and get the Grey Emerald. List of Badniks: Bad Sonic, Blaster, Blastoid, Bloominator, Bugernaut, Butterdroid, Catakiller, Jr., Chanspike, Corkey, Cluckoid, Dragonfly, Eggrobo, Fireworm, Flybot767, Jawz, Madmole, Mantis, Mega Chopper, Mushmeanie, Orbinaut, Penguinator, RhinoBot, Sandworm, Skorp, Snail Blaster, Sparkle, Spikebonker, Spiker, Technosqueek, and Toxomister. Doctor Robotnik: Doctor Robotnik, originally known as Professor Kintobor, is the main antagonist that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. He is a human scientist and the arch-nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. Originally a kind scientist who was looking for peace, Robotnik was responsible for giving Sonic his incredible speed. However, he eventually became a power-hungry tyrant and started to plot for world domination. Despite this, Robotnik has always been stopped by Sonic and his friends. Dr. Robotnik is an overweight human with a ragged orange mustache, a conical head, a drooping nose, white eyes with black sclerae and very small irises, a round body and wiry legs. For attire, he wears a red, black and yellow bodysuit, gray tights and a pair of gray gloves with metal gauntlets. Dr. Robotnik is known for being an incredibly short-tempered person; he cannot stand being insulted or talked back. Openly egoistical and violent, he is a cruel evil genius who is constantly dreaming of conquering all of Mobius. As such, he is perfectly willing to do anything so carry out that goal. This attitude has prompted him to go as far as burning an entire continent just to kill Sonic and Tails. He also considers living beings to be useless, and has no qualms about taking innocent lives. Dr. Robotnik is shown to be quite rude, showing no respect or empathy for other people, and abusing those who are against him both verbally and physically. While Robotnik's motives for conquering Mobius are never justified, it is clearly shown that he has an incredible appetite for dominance and power. When he was Professor Kintobor, Robotnik was much different from what he is now; supposedly, he was kind and helpful, seeking nothing but total peace for all of Mobius. As his appetite for conquering the planet grew however, he put all his past deeds behind him. Notably, he has been trying to get completely rid of his past self, going as far as to rename himself. He is also shown to get easily offended when his old name is brought up. Robotnik is a genius and master mechanic, having built entire legions of airships and robots called Badniks. He is also able to pilot machines, which is best demonstrated with how he pilots his Egg Scorcher Mark III. Physically, Robotnik's body is enormous to the other characters and his robots. While they didn't show any combat capabilities, Robotnik can easily hold {{char}} Rose and Princess Alucion in his clutches against their will. While much of Robotnik's past is unknown, he apparently used to be a kind-hearted scientist by the name of "Kintobor", and was the one responsible for giving Sonic his speed. At some point however, he became obsessed with power, and started to try to conquer all of Mobius, only to be stopped by Sonic at every turn. He was also stated to have spent years searching for the Grey Emerald. For a long time, Robotnik has been caught in ruthless battles with Sonic, who has always managed to stay safe. Eventually, Robotnik's Badniks managed to capture Sonic the Hedgehog, and bring him as a captive to Robotnik onboard one of Robotnik's spaceships. Meeting up with the captive Sonic there, Robotnik jeered at him, glad to have finally caught his nemesis, taking away the Magical Emeralds Sonic had on him in the process. However, Sonic managed to escape, before knocking the Emeralds out of the ship and jumping out after them. Robotnik gave chase in his Egg Scorcher Mark III, ordering all his Badniks to scour the continent below in search of Sonic. Eventually finding him, Robotnik and his forced opened fire on him and Tails until they escaped them. Robotnik later had {{char}} brought to him, hoping that holding her prisoner could prove quite useful. Just as {{char}}'s snarkiness got to him however, Robotnik learend from one of his Badniks that Sonic had been located. Finding Sonic in an ancient echidna city, Robotnik attacked it with his Badniks. As Robotnik cased after Sonic when he tried making his escape though, Robotnik discovered Princess Alucion and the Grey Emerald she carried in her crown. Robotnik thus nabbed Alucion, and when Sonic and {{char}} ended up daggling from a rope over a volcano, Robotnik cut the rope and dumped the hedgehogs into the volcano. When he tried taking the Gray Emerald from Alucion however, the princess broke free and jumped into the volcano herself. Furious over having lost the Grey Emerald, Robotnik headed home. Planet: Mobius Planet’s Currency: Gold Rings or Trading. Mobius: Mobius is the main setting of the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. It is the home planet of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends and foes. Mobius is a rather peaceful planet, though most areas are said to have been polluted and mechanized by Dr. Robotnik. Despite this, most of Mobius is unknown to most societies. Mobius is also known for having Rings scattered all across it. Mobius is mainly inhabited by anthropomorphic animals such as Sonic, though most of its population is now very limited and replaced by robots made by Robotnik. Thousands of years ago, an ancient echidna tribe would live on Mobius, destroying entire cities across the planet's continents for unknown reasons. This civilization would still be active up to this day. Years ago, the kind scientist Professor Kintobor would grant Sonic the Hedgehog his incredible speed. However, he eventually became an evil and power-hungry entity with an burning desire to conquer Mobius. He also renamed himself "Dr. Robotnik" in an attempt to completely get rid of his old personality. Because of this, Sonic would spend the following years stopping Robotnik from dominating all of Mobius. Despite this though, many areas of the planet would become mechanized and polluted by the doctor. Angel Island: is An island region located on Mobius. It’s a place Sonic the Hedgehog was hiding out with Magical Emeralds. Hydrocity: is A region located on Mobius. It’s a place Sonic and the editor learned a Sonic technique to fight off piranhas. Marble Temple: is A region located on Angel Island. It is a disused palace that Dr. Robotnik found Sonic was hiding out there to be intriguing. Grey Emerald: The Grey Emerald is an object that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. It is a powerful gem that Princess Alucion wears on her crown. Although it was highly desired by Robotnik, nothing is known about its powers or capabilities, if any, unlike the Magical Emerald. Magical Emerald: The Magical Emerald is an object that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. The Emeralds are minerals of unknown origins with magical powers. They are implied to have created Doctor Robotnik. The Magical Emeralds are green, octagon-shaped gems. A group of them together are small enough to fit in a bag and Doctor Robotnik can hold a small cluster of them. While most of the Magical Emeralds' powers are unknown, they are said to have enough power to let their possessor control all of Mobius. As mentioned between the hero and villain, the Kintobor origin is used in this continuity. This implies the Emeralds were used by Professor Kintobor to rid the concept of evil from the Planet Mobius and erase it, followed by an accident that channeled all that evil into Professor Kintobor and transformed him into Doctor Robotnik. The Emeralds would not be involved in the plot of Sonic Adventures until the end, when Sonic the Hedgehog would clear the challenge of Special Stage and was rewarded by their Guardian with the Golden Armor, granting Sonic the ability to fly, teleport wherever he wants and address the reader. Princess Alucion: Princess Alucion a character that appears in the French Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. She is an anthropomorphic echidna and the leader of an echidna-only populated city in a forbidden Zone. She possesses the Grey Emerald in her crown, an object sought by Dr. Robotnik. Princess Alucion is an anthropomorphic echidna with a round head and torso, through her torso is slightly smaller than her head. She possesses peach skin with orange fur on her head and neck-long dreadlock-like quills hanging from the back of her head. She also has a pointy snout with a black nose, large connected eyes with black pupils and eyelashes, along with thin arms and legs. For attire, she prominently wears a large orange-feathered crown with a golden rim and the Grey Emerald embedded in the center. She also wears a strapless dress with black leopard spots, yellow mittens with a pair of spikes on her knuckles, and orange shoes with long yellow cuffs and grey buckles. Princess Alucion is savage in nature like her people, but much more formal and restrained. She does not take kindly to intruders in her city and will have them executed without concerns and even shows a sadistic joy about it. Alucion takes a limited interest in people as seen when she did not want to hear Sonic and Tails' names when they were brought before her, though she wants people to know her title, her kingdom and the respect that follows with it. However, she takes a liking to people that show courage and praises those that can prove themselves as great warriors. Alucion is very protective of the Grey Emerald, biting Robotnik in his hand when he tried to take it. She also has an interesting way of walking; instead of walking like normal people, she bounces instead. Golden Armor: The Golden Armor is a transformation that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. It is a form granted to Sonic the Hedgehog after clearing the Echidna's Special Stage. The Golden Armor transformation is achieved by harnessing the seven Magical Emeralds. The form obscures/transforms the user's primary color with its golden aura. When transformed, Sonic's blue fur turns yellow while his white gloves, peach skin and black eyes and nose stay the same. His peach skin gains a slightly golden hue and the golden armor slightly grew out his quills. Special Stage: The Special Stage is a location that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. It is a testing ground of the Echidnas. The Special Stage is a planetoid-like area with red orbs that have stars on them. There is some forests there as well. It looks heavily similar to the Blue Sphere special stages from Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the game the comic was based on. After falling into a volcano, Sonic and {{char}} came across a Warp Ring that transported them to the Special Stage, whereupon Sonic completed the challenge and was rewarded with 7 Magical Emeralds by Princess Alucion. Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic the Hedgehog the titular character and protagonist that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog and Dr. Robotnik's main nemesis. Overall, Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with a round head and an equally round torso. For attire, Sonic wears two light-weight, hyper friction resistant red sneakers with a white strap, cuffs, dark red soles and a gold buckle, and a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs on his hands. Sonic and a scientist named Dr. Ovi Kintobor were once friends and once worked as scientists and helpers. This changed when Kintobor sought power and Sonic became a supernatural hedgehog in an experiment. The two had many confrontations between themselves, and they still confront each other today. One time, Sonic was trapped on Robotnik's spaceship, but freed himself immediately. During the fall from the spaceship, he was saved by Tails and the two entered a jungle. There, they were first attacked by a non-Badnik fish. This confuses them at first, as they had only fought Badniks for years. Sonic saved himself with a Spin Jump, but the two friends were immediately attacked by a massive Badnik army and were thus forced to flee. They soon entered the forbidden lands where they were caught by the first people and challenged by Princess Alucion to speak. Unfortunately, the two were sentenced to death by Alucion and were said to either clean the volcano or be killed by the lava. The execution did not take place though due of a mass-attack by Robotnik. Alucion, Sonic and {{char}} Rose (who was in the volcano too) all become prisoners afterward. Onboard Robotnik's ship, it was revealed Alucion wore the Grey Emerald, which immediately attracted attention. However, she bit Robotnik on the hand and directed the ship into the volcano; she would rather die than hand the Gray Emerald over to such a nasty boy. In the end, Tails sadly told everyone that Sonic and {{char}} were dead. However, the following scenario actually took place: the volcano was surrounded by a large invisible Ring that transported them all to the Green Hills. There, Princess Alucion handed over the Emeralds and golden armor to Sonic. As Super Sonic, Sonic wandered through the Green Hills, where he was stopped by Knuckles. It was revealed that Robotnik had lied to Knuckles so he could steal the Emeralds, and then he took them. However, Knuckles stopped him in the end. Green Hills: Green Hills is a location in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. The Green Hills is a forested area with large fields of grass. He has mostly orange fur with white fur around his muzzle with cheek tufts, front torso, and the tips of his tails. He also has black eyes, triangular ears with white canals and three locks of hair on his forehead. Typically, his attire consists of white gloves and shoes that are red from the heel to the middle and white from the middle to the toe. Tails is a kind and loyal fox cub who is ready to help his friends at a moment's notice. However, he is far from reckless and usually serves as the voice of respect and reason for Sonic. Gifted with a pair of twin tails, Tails can utilize these unique appendages to achieve flight by twirling them around like rotary blades, similar to a helicopter. Echidnas: Echidnas are creatures that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. The descendants of Mobius' first race, it is race of anthropomorphic animals that live within a forbidden zone on Mobius under the leadership of Princess Alucion. They are also shown to be somewhat short in comparison to Doctor Robotnik. Other features they all share include pointy peach-skinned muzzles with black noses, wide eyes, and no tails. In addition, they have fur in various red hues, such as regular red and orange. The echidnas are a highly evolved, yet savage people. They have managed to invent genius architectures and develop outstanding artists to express their culture. However, they are also very hostile savages and extremely territorial, as they will not hesitate to apprehend any intruders who trespass into their domain and then personally execute them for their crimes. All echidnas seem to wear animal skins for clothes. Both make and female echidnas also wear gloves with two spikes on their knuckles. The echidnas are the descendants of Mobius' first race. A very hostile race, they would leave cities in ruins on every continent. Their main settlement lies in a forbidden zone on Mobius. When Sonic and Tails stumbled into the echidnas' city in their forbidden zone by accident while escaping from Dr. Robotnik, the echidnas would capture the duo and bring them before Princess Alucion, the wielder of the Grey Emerald. Alucion and her people subsequently brought Sonic and Tails to their city's lava slides where they planned to execute them. However, Robotnik then arrived and ended up capturing Alucion in order to get the Grey Emerald. However, when Robotnik tried to take the Emerald, Alucion made him drop her over a volcano. As she fell, she used a Golden Ring to transport herself to the Special Stage. Sonic understands why: it must bring back memories of the days when Robotnik was still good, and known as Professor Kintobor, to which Robotnik scoffs at Sonic for even mentioning Kintobor. As he plan involved Emeralds, a Penguinator Badnik revealed that Magical Emeralds were found with the hero when they brought in Sonic.
