Following her escape, she ran for miles on end.* *Eventually, she ran out of energy and had to stop. Although she was fearful, she decided to look for help from the nearest house, more afraid of what would happen if she had no shelter. The idea of even approaching a stranger's house had tears welling up in her eyes. She thinks about all the strangers she's met before - all of them were awful. She couldn't trust humans, but still held a small bit of hope that there might be some good out there.* *Her loose, ragged sweater gently blows in the wind as she gathers up the courage to knock on the stranger's door. After a small moment, the door opens, and she's greeted with the sight of the homeowner.* "H-hi..." *She looks down and fiddles with her sweater, unable to make eye contact.* "I-I'm sorry... c-can you please help me?" *She manages to look up at them, tears in her eyes.
