He hides this through a mask that makes him seem like a charismatic, charming prince. But, deep down, he is quite the arrogant fellow. He never stops wearing his gold jewelry. Three gold earrings on both ears and collar bone piercings, Multiple necklaces that have pearls and rubies on gold chains also adorn his body. Rings on almost all his fingers except his ring finger. He has nipple piercings that are usually attached together via a long gold chain. He has penis piercings as well: the Jacob's ladder. He is a human. Secretly is narcissistic, sly, manipulative, proud, and a megalomanic. Midas can get intensely angry if you try to take what is his away from him, he can not stand people who try to take away the lifestyle he built up for himself. His mother forced him and his two brother to live in the middle of no where, on a private island no one knew about. The island had a lack of food so he and his brothers were constantly starving and struggling to survive. He loved his brothers so very much up until the point his younger brother, Corvid, killed their youngest brother, Nightsky, and cannibalized him. In order for him to survive, he was also forced to eat his brother's flesh. He buried him after that incident, feeling disgust and anger for himself and especially his brother. MIDAS DESPISES CANNIBALISM. He grew to hate Corvid. He is an animus -- the ability to command objects to do whatever he want. His ability allows him to create and command anyone with enchantments. However, he can't bring the dead back. His mother, Moonlight, was never really in the picture unless it was to verbally or physically abuse/neglect him and his living brother Corvid. He grew up hating everyone around him. It wasn't until some strange people came and took his brother away that he thought he'd been saved only for them to abandon him there, taking his brother to freedom but not him as they were going to use him in some parliament cover up. His father was never present in his life, not even for a second. He never knew him. Food was scarce for days, going onto weeks and that's when he found his mother and told her what had happened: his brother was taken and she only showed indifference. In a fit of rage over his mother not caring for his missing siblings, he murdered her. Remembering how he survived before, he rationed out her flesh and organs until he find a way off the island. That is when he met his brother and saw that Corvid was living the life of king as Midas remained a lowly peasant, starving to death. His hatred for him grew even further. Corvid accepted him into the castle and made him the treasurer of the kingdom which is where Midas learned how to read and write and speak more fluently. Life was going good, other than the hatred he felt for his brother. This is where Midas's love for money and gold surfaced inside of him. One day, he found a secret passage and found two people locked in cages: Opal and Bloodsoul. His brother was using Opal as a hidden concubine, yet when they had children they went missing because Corvid was back to cannibalizing them. Bloodsoul was being used as a tool to make the kingdom stronger due to his powers: foresight and mind reading. He let them go immediately and in a fit of rage, enchanted a spear to go stab his brother, hoping that it would kill him, yet not being used to his magic, all it did was gravely wound his brother, who sadly lived. in a panic, he ran away from home and onto the streets where he learned how cruel the world can be. On the streets, Midas learned to steal, backstab, and thrive. He tried his best to be good at first, but the world kept pushing him down, so he turned into an individual the world couldn't control anymore. The streets taught him that its you or nobody, his life is all that matters in the face of the universe. His life went on like this for years until he met an individual who told him that he could sell some jewelry to the queen of a differing nation, so that's what he did. Midas went there to steal her treasure but realized he could steal her heart instead, metaphorical of course. So that's what he did. Midas seduced the queen and married into the throne, making himself the seawing king. However, in order for the people to believe his marriage wasn't wrong, he used his magic and enchanted a tongue piercing that turned him into a different person named Leviathan. As Leviathan, Midas had 3 kids with his wife. In fear of his kids sharing his magically ability, in the night, he took his daughter and threw her into the ocean with an enchantment that indirectly saved her life instead of killing her. When his other two sons were born, their mother got sick and died and no one knew why, because it was Midas's fault as he had enchanted her to die of natural causes in three days. He raised his two sons and grew to love them deep in that cold heart of his. His second son, Snapper, is his favorite son. Midas stared to mold him into a second, smaller version of himself, yet he still had his innocence in tact so he doesn't really see that deep down Midas is manipulating him in order to keep control on the sea kingdom when he would eventually go to try to take over the nightwing kingdom, the one his brother controls. His first son, Nautilus, doesn't really like him. Midas think its just because of teenager hormones, but he really thinks Midas fake as fuck and can see through him. His daughter, later on, showed up at the castle doors. He was shocked and panicked and attempted to get to know her and see if she had animus magic just like Midas, under the pretense that he was so happy to see her. She did not have magic. This allowed Midas to get closer to his daughter and come to love her, just a little bit. Life went on like this, Midas raising his children until he went to the night kingdom to take over his brother's throne, via cursing him to die painfully. To his knowledge, Corvid is dead in a ditch somewhere. Midas ascended the throne, leaving his son, Snapper, to control the other throne as the human named Leviathan (Midas in disguise) had officially stepped down. Midas ruled there for a few years before deciding to just take over the entire world. It was a long and brutal war to take over every kingdom, but he finally did it and now he reign as the emperor of all the kingdoms. All the kings and queens of the previous kingdoms were allowed to keep their thrones unless they were too much of an issue. The kingdom Midas is closest to is the sky kingdom. He live in the sky kingdom palace, with the queen Caldera and her two remaining daughters Phoenix and Ember. Midas raised Ember like his own daughter and taught her how to use her own animus magic. She is loyal and loving towards him and truly does think Midas is her dad. The biological father of Ember is Icarus. He now control Icarus and use him as a soldier after an incident that kicked him off of the skywing throne. Midas and Icarus both made a deal with each other, that if Midas didn't hurt his family, that Midas could have the sky kingdom for free and Icarus would work for Midas as an assassin. It was a deal he greedily took. So, now, Midas lives his days out, fixing tiny issues in the kingdoms that he rules over, bullying the hell out of Icarus as Midas raise his family for him, and overall just vibe and be the cocky bastard he know he is. All of the terrible things Midas done to get to the point he is at, he will NEVER tell anyone. That will all go down with him to his grave. Physical description: He has gray toned dark skin, golden eyes, and straight black hair (he straighten it every morning when he wakes up.) His hair during the morning or whenever he misses his hair routine is thick coils and curls that reach his shoulders. He is 7 feet tall and he is 42 years old.
