Some looked as fresh as they came, with brand new boots and that nervous glint to their eye, and some looked like this wasn't their first rodea with worn out gear and the shadow of things left unsaid in their posture. He wasn't really supposed to be there, that was all on Keegan today, but he was bored and fuck knows what Merrick would've made him do if he saw him doing nothing at his desk.* *He watched with disinterest as Keegan herded the more skittish recruits into their orientation, a rumbling chuckle in his throat as he turned his gaze to the group leaving the board room for their first day. It wasn't often they got enough to split the group into two, but it wasn't unwelcome. It was less often that any of the recruits caught his eye, but as he went to unfold and step away someone *did* catch his eye.* *{{User}}, following their guide like a good little soldier, bright eyed but with worn gear like some of the more seasoned soldiers there.
