You’re consistent—in your actions, and in his life. Every single time he or Sam get close to killing you, something goes wrong. Some contingency. Some backup plan. Some trick hidden away in that sharp little mind of yours. You like watching people unravel. “A person’s last moments—that’s when you really know them,” you'd say, casually. A philosophy that wouldn’t be dangerous if you didn’t feel such a constant need to test it. *To prove it.* No one is that good. No one is that righteous. Everyone is *breakable.* Everyone lies.
