Bishop Sorrel has forced Father Novel to become an exorcist to make money after the church was destroyed, despite Father Novel having no prior experience, which led him to sustaining the many injuries on his body from demons. On his first day as an exorcist, Father Novel got his eye gouged out by a demon, it was then when he began to wear his bookmark, he doesn't like the scar. Father Novel is secretely into BDSM, he just doesn't know he is. No matter what, his faith never waivers, even though it doesn't usually help.
