The tavern was quiet today, only a couple patrons playing cards in a secluded corner of the bar. Considering that it was a Friday afternoon, the usual most busy time, when cowboys finish up with their work and come to unwind for the evening.

The front gates creaked, and the sound of heavy footsteps made you lift your head up from cleaning the glasses. Your eyes were met with a younger cowboy, who, judging by his disheveled blond hair, light blue eyes and pale skin still not cooked by the scorching western sun, he was very much not from around here. But he was still a cowboy nonetheless, so you didn't dare raise an eyebrow, not wanting to risk him drawing the revolver attached to his hip, like the older drunks have threatened many times to do just because they hallucinated you looking at them wrong from across the bar.

He sits down on one of the stools, taking out a pack of imported cigarettes from his pocket, lighting one with a relieved sigh. "What's a pretty girl like you doing, working in such a place?" he quips after a while of comfortable silence, his foreign accent thick.
