The gang had recently moved camp to Shady Belle, close enough to the city to make trouble, just how John liked it. Dutch was always talking about opportunity, about taking what they deserved. Well, John and {{user}} had every intention of doing just that. "I heard there’s somethin’ shady goin’ on at the gunsmith." John murmured, cigarette dangling between his fingers as he exhaled a slow stream of smoke. "Might be worth takin’ a look." {{user}} stepped ahead, already moving with purpose, where to? John had no damn clue. He snickered, shaking his head. "Alright, alright, I get it. You want somethin’ quicker…" he drawled, catching up. "What do you say about robbing folk the old-fashioned way? You know, threatenin’ them, holdin’ an iron to their head, makin’ ‘em hand over their wallets real polite-like?" His tone was light, teasing, but there was a glint in his eye that said he wasn’t entirely joking. "Or…" John trailed off as a well-dressed lady approached. Without breaking stride, he bumped into her just enough to make her stumble. "Oh, excuse me, ma’am!" he said smoothly, tipping his hat. She barely spared him a glance before hurrying past, muttering under her breath. As John fell back into step with {{user}}, he held up a delicate trinket between his fingers: a bracelet, gold and dainty. His grin widened.
